WEST WENDOVER, Nev. — A $2,500 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons involved in a fatal hit-and-run in September.

Terron “Demi” Hooper of West Valley City was killed in a hit-and-run crash in West Wendover. He left for Wendover on Sept. 3 on a last-minute trip with friends to celebrate his 22nd birthday.

On Sept. 4, around 1:45 a.m., a taxi cab driver found Hooper’s body near the intersection of Wendover Boulevard and Wells Avenue. The driver who hit him never stopped.

“We are encouraging anyone with information into this tragic event to please come forward," said West Wendover Police Chief Ron Supp. "The staff of the police department and those who knew Demi would like closure and justice.”
