SANDY — Visitors can view mountain goats at the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon on April 21.
Bob Walters, Watchable Wildlife coordinator for the Division of Wildlife Resources, said April is one of the best months to see the goats.
The event will take place 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in the park-and-ride lot at the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon. DWR biologists will be at the lot from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
To reach the canyon, travel east out of Sandy on 9400 South.
Children can also participate in activities from 9 a.m.-noon.
