SALT LAKE CITY — Snow Friday morning caused accidents and delays across Salt Lake and Utah counties.
"This morning, around 7 a.m., (Parleys Canyon) was closed because a couple of semitrucks that spun out eastbound," said Utah Highway Patrol Cpl. Todd Johnson.
I-80 was closed at the mouth of the canyon for about three hours.
Johnson said there were sporadic accidents across Salt Lake and Utah counties including south of Spanish Fork on I-15, where UHP reported six accidents.
"It's still snowing down in that area," Johnson said. "It's a construction area as well."
