MURRAY — Police officers next month will turn back the clock and turn on the laughs to raise funds with a roast of Murray City Councilman Jim Brass. 

Police and their supporters will host an Evening of Fun and Fundraising hosted by master roaster Jerome Bennett. The event is a fundraising dinner for the Murray Police Officer Fund and is also a complimentary night out for the men and women who fight crime in Murray.    

"I’m so pleased to host this fun event to thank the men and women who work hard to protect our families as they fight crime in our city,” Bennett said.    

The event will be held Tuesday, April 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Doty Education Center on the campus of the Intermountain Medical Center, 5121 Cottonwood St. in Murray.     

The event costs $20 through March 31, $25 if tickets are purchased April 1 through April 23, or $30 at the door. To purchase tickets, visit
