SALT LAKE CITY — In addition to registering to vote, Utah voters may now request an absentee ballot online instead of going to their county clerk’s office in person.

The online option at vote.utah.gov allows voters to request a one-time absentee ballot or a permanent-by-mail ballot. Military and overseas voters can also choose their desired method of delivery including email, fax, domestic address or international address.

“Providing an absentee ballot option for Utah citizens is another way we are encouraging all Utah citizens to participate in the voting process,” said Utah Lt. Gov. Greg Bell.
