SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Parks and Public Lands Division will begin taking 2012 pavilion reservations on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., for walk-ins only, at 1965 W. 500 South.
Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted.
Pavilions are available to reserve in the following city parks: Fairmont, Jordan, Liberty, Lindsey Gardens, Poplar Grove, Riverside, Sherwood, Sunnyside and Washington. At the current time, the availability of the Westpointe pavilion is undetermined and may be closed for the 2012 reservation season.
Pavilion reservations are available from April 16 through Oct. 20 for regular park hours.
Pavilion rental fees are $40 for city residents and $50 for nonresidents, with the exception of Washington Park pavilions, which rent for $75 for residents and $100 for nonresidents.
The option to make reservations by phone begins Monday at 8:30 a.m. Call 801-972-7860. Phone reservations can be made Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through the reservation season. Phone reservations must be paid for at the time of the transaction by credit card.
Online reservations can be made at www.slcparks.com starting March 12 and continuing through the reservation season.

Sugarhouse Park is not administered by the city but pavilions there can be reserved by calling Salt Lake County Parks at 801-483-5473.
