Two attorneys have been elected to the Utah State Bar Commission.

The new commissioners are H. James Clegg and James R. Holbrook.Clegg is a member of the Salt Lake law firm of Snow, Christensen & Martineau. He was admitted to the Utah State Bar in 1966 after receiving his juris doctor from the University of Utah College of Law. He served as president of the Salt Lake County Bar in 1982 and has recently been appointed to the Third District Judicial Nominating Commission.

The new commissioners will serve three-year terms on the 11-member bar commission which licenses, regulates and provides educational programs for Utah's 4,900 attorneys.

Holbrook is chairman of the litigation department of Callister, Duncan & Nebeker. He was graduated from the U. College of Law in 1974. He has served on the Post-Law School Practical Training Committee for the bar and also serves on the executive committee of the bar's litigation section.

Holbrook is a past president of the Utah Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
