A former employee of Hayes Brothers Buick-Jeep has filed a federal civil rights suit against her ex-employer, accusing him of sexual harassment.

Sandra Morrison is seeking $2 million in damages against Edwin Burtnette, the firm's executive vice president, for making sexual favors an "explicit and implicit condition" of her employment.

Morrison contends in the suit that Burtnette threatened to fire her if she did not respond to his sexual advances. She further contends that her ex-boss fired her because she was married in January 1987.

Her employment was terminated in March 1987.

Hayes Brothers declined to comment on the case.

The suit states Morrison required psychological and medical treatment.
