A Centerville man injured in a two-car collision June 21 was released Thursday from Utah Valley Regional Medical Center.
David Scott, 50, was injured when the truck he was driving collided head-on with a car driven by Brad F. Ferguson, 27, Springville. The accident in Spanish Fork Canyon left two dead, according to a Utah Highway Patrol spokesman.Scott; his father, Austin Scott, 75; and four children, Jill Scott, 14, Danielle Scott, 10, Sara Scott, 7, and Raymond Scott, 13, were entering the canyon when their vehicle collided with the other car.
Ferguson was pronounced dead at the scene. Raymond died later of head injuries. Except for David Scott, the others were treated for lacerations then released.
