The Salt Lake City Public Library is bringing back the cultural revolution. Iron your hair, grab your tie-dyed shirt and head for the Main City Library, 209 E. 209 E. Fifth South. The Sizzlin' Sixties Summer is about to begin.
Starting July 5, the library will show a different 1960s film each Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. The films include "Woodstock," "Yellow Submarine," "Alice's Restaurant" and "Easy Rider."A tie-dye workshop will be held at 10 a.m. July 9 on the Main Library's northwest outdoor plaza, and a costume party is planned for July 12. All events are free and open to the public.
