The Utah Museum of Natural History and Salt Lake City libraries are sponsoring free dinosaur fossil excavation workshops this summer for children 4 and older.

Karen Moyle, a docent from the museum, will conduct the workshops at six different libraries, beginning July 6 and continuing through July 20. Children will observe a mini-dig, explore the types of dinosaurs that roamed Utah and view fossil replicas and equipment used for excavation. Children can be registered in person or by phone by calling any city library. For specific workshop dates and times or for more information, call the City Library System, 363-5733.
