A train slammed into a passenger bus near Havana Saturday, killing at least 25 people and injuring 40, the government news agency said.

The accident occurred in the late afternoon when a train on Cuba's Havana-Matanzas line struck the bus in the city of Guanabacoa, Prensa Latina said in a dispatch monitored in Mexico City.Police rushed to the scene to determine the cause of the crash and identify the dead, the report said. It said three children were among the dead.
