Six sports standouts - ranging from athlete to coach to sportswriter - will be named to the 1988 Utah Summer Games Hall of Honor this weekend.

The six include longtime Manti High coach Wilbur Braithwaite, BYU head football coach LaVell Edwards, BYU's four-time all-America tennis player Tracy Tanner-MacDonald, Olympic steeplechaser Henry Marsh, Utah State track and field coach Ralph Maughan, and Salt Lake Tribune sports editor John Mooney. The six were to be honored during Monday's opening ceremonies at the SUSC Thunderbird Stadium. However, Monday evening's thunderstorm rained out the ceremonies and forced its postponement to Saturday, when it will serve as the closing ceremonies.
