Craig Madson of Centerville has been selected as one of 11 national vice chairmen of the United States Jaycees.

Andrew Tobin, 29, was selected as the new president and was sworn in at the conclusion of a four-day national convention in Richmond, Va., officials said. He succeeds Gary Wilkinson of Meridian, Miss.

More than 4,000 Jaycees from around the United States attended the 68th annual convention, which ended with a splashy Parade of States, a 11/2-hour parade that included floats from each state.
