The trial of a New York woman charged with kidnapping her estranged husband last year has been delayed again because of the woman's continuing poor health.

The Utah County Sheriff's Department said a new trial for the defendant, Ann Taylor, 56, will be set July 8. In March, Taylor's doctor told the attorney's office that she would be unable to travel from New York to Utah for some time.Taylor is charged with the July 1987 kidnapping of John Max Taylor, who was then her husband.

The defendant has claimed she was rescuing her husband from relatives uninterested in his well-being.
