The 5A state tournament tips off on Monday afternoon with four games each at Weber State University and Utah Valley University.
Everyone will be gunning for No. 1 Olympus, which rolled through the regular season with a 23-0 record and an eye-popping 84.7 scoring average. It was the favorite last year as well, but came up two points short in the championship game against Springville.
Timpanogos was the only other 5A team that enjoyed a perfect region season, as it marched through league play with a 10-0 record.
After Olympus and Timpanogos, the 5A field is pretty wide open and there should be numerous competitive games in the march to the Huntsman Center for Saturdays championship game.
In alphabetical order, these are the teams that qualified for the 5A boys state basketball and what to expect over the next week of playoff basketball.
