Five-hundredth victory? No more or less important than 499 or 501. At least that's your attitude if your name is Jerry Sloan.

As most folks were cleaning up red and green wrapping paper or trying to put back together already broken new toys, the longtime Utah Jazz coach earned his 500th victory with the team.

Utah, in a game reminiscent of the previous season's ever-entertaining Western Conference Finals, edged Houston 107-103 in the Delta Center.
