Rookie Keith Van Horn scored 21 of his season-high 30 points in the first half as the New Jersey Nets routed the Denver Nuggets 133-95.

Van Horn, the No. 2 pick in the draft, was 8 of 11 from the field, including 3 of 4 from downtown, and made 11 of 15 free throws. He did not play in the fourth period.
