Former Utah State middle linebacker Bobby Wagner has scored three times off fumble recoveries for touchdowns in his six years in the NFL with the Seattle Seahawks, but he scored points in a new way on Sunday.

Wagner sacked Washington quarterback Kirk Cousins in the end zone in the first quarter, resulting in the first safety of Wagner’s NFL career to give Seattle an early 2-0 lead. The two-time first-team All-Pro had a big game for Seattle in the 17-14 loss, with 12 tackles, three tackles for loss, two quarterback hurries and a pass deflection.
