Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry hit big shots down the stretch and the Utah Jazz fell apart as the Golden State Warriors won Game 3 of the Western Conference semifinals at Vivint Arena Saturday night, 102-91.

The Warriors now hold a 3-0 lead in the series and can sweep it Monday night.

The Jazz put forth by far their best performance of the series, and held an 80-79 lead with just over six minutes remaining, but were outscored 23-11 the rest of the way.

Durant led all scorers with 38 points and pulled down 13 rebounds. Curry struggled for most of the game but still finished with 23 points.

Gordon Hayward led Utah with 29 points. Rudy Gobert added 21.

Game 4 will be at Vivint Arena, with tip time set for 7 p.m.


The Jazz opened up a nine-point lead but the Warriors charged back and lead by two heading into the fourth quarter, 72-70.

Utah led 62-53 at the 7:28 mark but scored just eight points the rest of the frame.

Stephen Curry had missed 10 consecutive shots spanning the second and third quarters, but got going a bit and has 12 points.

Gordon Hayward has 21 to lead the Jazz. Kevin Durant leads all scorers with 27.


For the first time all series, the Utah Jazz took a lead, and finished the quarter up one on the Golden State Warriors, 50-49.

After a cold first quarter, the Jazz scored 33 points in the second while holding the Warriors to 22.

Trailing by 11, a 7-0 run helped Utah get back within striking distance, and they stayed aggressive to ultimately take the lead.

Kevin Durant leads all scorers with 22 points, but no other Golden State player has more than six. Rudy Gobert leads the Jazz with 12.


The Jazz held the Warriors to just 39 percent shooting, but only shot 29 percent themselves and trail, 27-17.

Utah was outscored 17-7 over the final 5:45 of the frame.

Kevin Durant leads all scorers with 13 points. Gordon Hayward is pacing the Jazz with eight. Rudy Gobert is just 2-of-6 from the foul line.

SALT LAKE CITY — The Western Conference semifinals have shifted to Salt Lake City, where the Utah Jazz and Golden State Warriors will square off in Game 3 Saturday night at Vivint Arena.

The Jazz will be aiming to get within a game of the Warriors, while the road team will be looking to get in position for the series sweep in Game 4, which will be next Monday.

Utah point guard George Hill, who missed Game 2 with toe soreness, is out again. Golden State forward Draymond Green will play after hurting his knee late in Game 3.
