American Fork boys track set a national high school record at the Arcadia Invitational in Los Angeles on Friday night in the 4x1600-meter relay.

The Cavemen finished in 16:41.30, shattering a record set last year at the meet by Temecula Great Oak (California) High in 16:52.95.

Carson Clinger ran his leg in 4:25.5, followed by McKay Johns (4:08.2), Patrick Parker (4:05.4) and Casey Clinger (4:02.2).
