SALT LAKE CITY — In a playoff-like game that wasn't very pretty for most of the night, the Utah Jazz ultimately came away with a 95-88 victory over the Washington Wizards Friday at Vivint Arena.

The Jazz took the lead with 4:24 left and then hung on for the win.


• Utah made 10 3-pointers compared to five for Washington.

• The Jazz had 20 assists to the Wizards' 12.

• Utah finished with seven blocks. Washington had one.

Records: Utah (47-29); Washington (46-30)


Utah: Gordon Hayward finished with 19 points, including 10 in the fourth quarter. He also had seven rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block.

Washington: Bradley Beal led all scorers with 27 points.
