Utah appeared to be in trouble when Chris Fuamatu-Ma'afala had knee surgery earlier in the week, a big blow to an offense that had struggled in close wins over UTEP and TCU.

But Juan Johnson filled in nicely, getting a career high 197 yards on 34 carries with four touchdowns in a 45-19 win over Tulsa.

Kevin Dyson also had a career day with 176 yards on four catches and touchdown receptions of 56 and 74 yards from Mike Fouts, who broke out of a slump with 11 of 21 completions for 327 yards.
