SALT LAKE CITY — The 24th-ranked Utah Utes open Pac-12 play tonight at Rice-Eccles Stadium after going 3-0 in nonconference play.

In town is a 1-2 USC Trojans program that has had a rough start to 2016 both on and off the field. They'll be breaking in a new starting quarterback, redshirt freshman Sam Darnold.

The Utes will be looking for their second consecutive win to open conference action after beating Oregon in the Pac-12 opener last season.
