Flint Wayne Harrison, an inmate being held in the Davis County Jail on multiple felony charges, died in custody Monday morning.
Flint Harrison, who along with son Dereck James "DJ" Harrison were accused of killing UTA worker Kay Porter Ricks, was found by corrections officers early in the morning hanging inside the facility, according to a release from the Davis County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies and nurses attempted revive Harrison but were unsuccessful, according to the release.
The death will be investigated by the Weber County Crime Scene Investigators and the state medical examiner, the sheriff's office said.
