The Utah basketball team had a case of deja vu against Texas. Two years earlier, the Utes had overcome a large second-half deficit to take the lead and needed to stop a last-second Longhorn shot. This time the shot didn’t fall and the 14th-ranked Utes won 70-69 to snap Texas’ 26-game home win streak, the second-longest in the nation.
Keith Van Horn and Mark Rydalch led Utah with 15 points apiece and Michael Doleac had 13 points and 16 rebounds.
