WASHINGTON — Vice President Joe Biden says he's proud of the Democratic candidates who took part in the party's first presidential primary debate.

Biden says he thought every one of the candidates on the stage did well.

Biden is considering entering the 2016 presidential race but hasn't announced a decision.

The vice president was speaking Wednesday to a White House meeting on infrastructure financing. He says it's a dirty secret that most Republicans support infrastructure spending but that "they're being intimidated by a minority." He says those Republicans need encouraging.
