Morgan 26, Union 21

Austin Francis reached paydirt on a 27-yard run to give the Trojans their final touchdown of the night and just enough points to eke out the win over their 3A North foe. Vaihoi Lutui of Union finished off the scoring with a 56-yard TD run in the loss.

Emery 50, Grantsville 13

Austin Allred carried the ball 11 times for 143 rushing yards and five touchdowns in the blowout win over Grantsville on the road.


North Sanpete 27, Juab 21 (OT)

Zac Lee threw a 25-yard touchdown in overtime to defeat Juab by one score.


Judge Memorial 37, Ben Lomond 20

Entering the fourth quarter with just a two-point lead, the Bulldogs posted 21 straight points, including an 88-yard interception return by Sam Cassel, to roll past Ben Lomond in region action.

Logan 52, Stansbury 23

The Grizzlies posted 35 points in the second quarter alone to run away with the region victory. Hunter Horsley threw five touchdowns, including two for more than 30 yards, to lead Logan on its home field.

Tooele 22, Bear River 7

Demetrius Smith scored twice for Tooele, once on a 26-yard reception and once on a 5-yard run, to lead the Buffalos in the home victory.


Desert Hills 35, Snow Canyon 0

Kobe Sattiewhite returned an interception for a touchdown, and Stetson Wood returned a kickoff for a touchdown as Desert Hills blanked Snow Canyon in an important region victory.


Fremont 48, Weber 14

Austin Freeman carried the ball 19 times for 107 yards and three touchdowns and Braxton Porter added 89 yards rushing and two touchdowns as Fremont rallied past Weber for the region victory after scored 48 unanswered points.

Sky View 38, Roy 15

Leading by just two points entering the fourth quarter, Sky View scored three consecutive touchdowns, including one on a 46-yard pass from Garrison Beach to Breygan Holbrook, for the region victory.

Mountain Crest 47, Northridge 14

The Mustangs recorded five rushing touchdowns, including a 24-yarder by Cody Olsen to cap the Mountain Crest scoring, in the commanding victory.


Hunter 30, Viewmont 23

McKay Meidlinger connected with Olson Williams on a 59-yard touchdown pass late in the fourth quarter as Hunter eked out the victory over Viewmont in a back-and-forth Region 2 game to remain unbeaten in league play. Williams finished with three combined rushing/receiving touchdowns for the Wolverines.

Syracuse 24, Granger 0

Steady scoring allowed the Titans to pull away from Granger in the Region 2 showdown. Ty Metcalfe threw two touchdowns in the win while Brayden White kicked three PATs and an 18-yard field goal.


Bingham 38, Taylorsville 0

The Miners rattled off three quick first quarter touchdowns -- a 53-yard rush from BJ Taufalele, a 73-yard pass from Matt Degn to Jahvontay Smith, and a 23-yard pass from Degn to Brayden Cosper -- to roll past Taylorsville in the Thursday night game.


Cottonwood 22, Clearfield 14

The Colts responded to an early deficit with a 25-yard passing touchdown from Zack Roberts to Fua Pututau and a safety to steadily pull away in the nonregion contest for their second win of the year.

Park City 35, Ogden 14

Spencer Zur rushed for a touchdown and passed for two more to bounce back from last weeks region loss to Judge with a nonregion win over Ogden.

Westlake 46, Salem Hills 34

Nathaniel Corporan got the Westlake scoring started quickly with a 75-yard punt return for the opening touchdown. Alema Teo scored three more touchdowns for the Thunder, which rolled in nonregion action.

Jordan 55, Copper Hills 3

Drew Lisk threw seven touchdown passes as Jordan dominated Copper Hills from start to finish to improve to 4-0 in region play.
