Are you ready for some football?

All eyes are on Utah vs. Michigan as the regular season begins Thursday for teams in the state of Utah. Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh is trying his best from shielding Utah from knowing who the quarterback will be on Thursday. Michigan has 16 listed co-starters on its depth chart, including that position.

But is Utah concerned about who the QB is? "Honestly, quarterbacks to us is just the guy throwing the ball and giving the ball to the running back, so honestly we prepare the same way," says linebacker Jared Norris. Kyle Whittingham also expands on how the Utes are preparing for the Wolverines, including watching game tape of nearly any formation run last year from the six or seven new assistants Harbaugh brought from all over the place.

Harbaugh isnt the only coach in the Big Ten making his debut against a Utah school. Former Oregon State coach Mike Riley now heads up Nebraska, which opens with BYU on Saturday. When asked about containing BYU quarterback Taysom Hill, Riley said, "He's one of those guys that has tremendous versatility, so the threat that he presents both operating the offense or running the football himself, that gives him ample opportunities to basically threaten run on basically every play."

Also in Logan, the Aggies open up their season against in-state opponent from the FCS, Southern Utah. DeseretNews.com Aggies writer Chanel Barnes joins the show to give a little insight on USU heading into the season. Also joining the show is former DeseretNews.com writer and current SUU beat writer for the Spectrum, Ryan Miller. Miller gives a look at the 2015 FCS Thunderbirds that are eying their third FBS win in five seasons when they travel to Logan.
