The funeral service for President Boyd K. President Packer died July 3 of causes incident to old age. President Packer, who was 90, served as a general authority of the LDS Church for more than 53 years. He is remembered as a champion of families, a master teacher and a resolute defender of LDS doctrine. President Packer was also known for his reverence for nature and his artwork, which embodied that reverence.
