SPANISH FORK 4, WOODS CROSS 1: Spanish Fork moved on to the quarterfinals with a road win at Woods Cross. With the loss, the Wildcats will have to play on Monday at 4:30 p.m. at UVU.


SALEM HILLS 5, SKY VIEW 1: Three pitchers combined for the win in the Skyhawks playoff victory.



MAPLE MOUNTAIN 9, KEARNS 5: Jake Mafi picked up a hit in all four of his at-bats and added three RBIs as Maple Mountain stayed alive with a win over Kearns.

OREM 8, ROY 6: Orem edged out a win over Roy to stay alive and to move on to play Box Elder on Monday in the one-loss bracket.

JUDGE MEMORIAL 1, PROVO 0: Judge Memorials one run proved to be enough in this defensive battle. The Bulldogs play Woods Cross on Monday.

BOUNTIFUL 3, OLYMPUS 2: A wild pitch moved Austin Parkinson" href="/sports/high-school/player/stats/144736/7/Austin-Parkinson">Austin Parkinson to third base, then the catcher overthrew third and Austin came in for the winning run. Spencer Gleave led the Braves with a double and home run while also picking up the win on the mound.


PLEASANT GROVE 11, JORDAN 2: Pleasant Grove jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. Payton Henry doubled and went yard to lead the way for the Vikings.

FREMONT 3, TAYLORSVILLE 0: Braxton Bullock fanned 11 batters in the complete game shutout while belting a home run for the Silver Wolves.

COTTONWOOD 2, AMERICAN FORK 0: Tevita Gerber recorded eight strikeouts and retired American Forks final 13 batters to lead Cottonwood to its second straight victory in the 5A state tournament. Wil Jensen and Gerber both recorded RBI singles to pace the Colts offense.

LONE PEAK 16, BINGHAM 4: Seth Corry dominated on the mound with 12 strikeouts and hit a three-run home run at the plate to lead the Knights over the Miners.


DAVIS 5, HILLCREST 0: Davis was able to keep their season alive thanks to a two hitter from Dom Fuller. The Darts will play at 11 a.m. on Monday at Kearns against Bingham.

LEHI 12, COPPER HILLS 10: Broc Hansen doubled twice to lead the Pioneers over the Grizzlies. Lehi moves onto to a tough Region 4 rematch against American Fork. Blake Smith also added four RBIs.

WEST JORDAN 2, VIEWMONT 0: West Jordan pulled off the upset on the road to keep the season alive. They shut out the Vikings and moved on to play Taylorsville.

NORTHRIDGE 10, HUNTER 2: Josh Brown led Northridge over Hunter as he hit a two-run home run and pick up the win up on the hill.

TIMPVIEW 2, MOUNTAIN VIEW 1: Mountain View climbed back and tied it up but the Thunderbirds escaped with a road win in the playoffs.

JUDGE MEMORIAL 2, SKY VIEW 1: Down at half, Judge Memorial was able to rally as Jose Batalla netted the game-winning goal with just over 10 minutes to play.

EAST 3, BOX ELDER 1: Matt Barker put two goals in the back of the net in the second half to help East comeback and beat Box Elder. Daniel Rhondeau also scored for the Leopards while Bryce Backman netted the goal for the Bees.

MAPLE MOUNTAIN 2, OLYMPUS 0: Olympus got red card in the 30th minute and battled for the rest of the game but it just wasnt enough as Tanner Dayton and Chris Reeves netted goals to get move on to the quarterfinals.

LOGAN 3, HIGHLAND 2: Josh Young had a hat trick, including scoring the golden goal to get Logan through to the next round.

SKYLINE 4, WASATCH 1: Trailing 1-0 at the halftime, Skyline erupted with four goals in the second half to avoid the 4A first-round upset bid by Wasatch.

PROVO 2, MURRAY 1: Sam Hansgen was able to net a goal in stoppage time to force overtime, but the Spartans just didnt have enough as Provo pulled out the victory in double overtime.

BOUNTIFUL 2, OGDEN 1: After falling behind early in the second half, Bridger Booth saved Bountifuls season and then Alex Simpson sent them to the quarterfinals with an overtime goal.
