OREM 9, CORNER CANYON 8: Michael Ebeling fanned seven Corner Canyon batters and smacked a double in the nail-biting win over Corner Canyon.

SALEM HILLS 12, TIMPVIEW 0: Porter Gustin, Riley Pierce and Easton Tallon combined to throw their second no hitter of the week, this time for nearly a perfect game, to help power Salem Hills past Timpview on the road. Colton Lundell led the Skyhawks offensive attack with a triple and a double.

MAPLE MOUNTAIN 13, PROVO 0: Maple Mountain erupted for 13 runs in the first two innings to cruise past Provo at home. Tyson Ellis pitched the complete-game shutout in the win for the home team.

DESERT HILLS 11, DIXIE 5: Preston Creager and Brayson Hurdsman each smacked deep home runs to help Desert Hills blow past region rival Dixie.

BEAR RIVER 10, BEN LOMOND 0: Bear River jumped out to a commanding lead and tacked on its 10th run in bottom of the sixth inning to pick up the lopsided win over Ben Lomond. Hunter Porritt tripled, Hayden Smoot smacked a double and Nic Rasmussen picked up the two-hit shutout victory on the mound to power the home team.

CARBON 5, RICHFIELD 3: Jarod Lessar pitched six solid innings and also had one of the seven hits in Carbons narrow win against Richfield. Anthony Maclean and Cole Fossat led the Dinos offensive attack as they roped two doubles and a home run, respectively, in the win.

SAN JUAN 20, MONTICELLO 9: Braxton Brown and Baylr Eldredge each hit two doubles to lead San Juan to a convincing victory over Monticello.

MANTI 3, WASATCH ACADEMY 0: Manti netted two first-half goals and added an insurance goal in the second half to hand Wasatch Academy its first region loss this season. Trystan Daniels recorded the shutout between the posts for the Templars.

CYPRUS 1, KEARNS 0: Omar Monroy netted the solo goal while Omar Monroy preserved the shutout in Cyprus hard-fought road win over Kearns.

REGION 8

MAPLE MOUNTAIN 1, PROVO 1: Tyler Gordon scored the first goal to set up a great lead heading into halftime. However, Maple Mountains Ian Stonehocker knocked in the tying goal in the second half, and neither team could find the back of the net after double overtime as the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

WASATCH 4, SALEM HILLS 2: Wasatch jumped out to a four-goal lead at the break and held off a late charge from Salem Hills to pick up the region victory. Hayden Eyre netted both of the Skyhawks goals, while Jesse Lopez led the Wasps with two scores, as well. Toby Holmes also played a terrific match for the home team as he dished out two assists in the victory.

DIXIE 3, SNOW CANYON 0: Tyler Bennett, McLane Keenan and Avry Green all found the back of the net in the shutout win over Snow Canyon.

TIMPANOGOS 20, OREM 8: Jade Caplar and Marissa Dale each smacked two doubles to propel Timpanogos to the blowout win over Orem on the road.

CORNER CANYON 13, MOUNTAIN VIEW 2: Corner Canyon tallied 10 of its 13 total runs in the final three innings, including six in the top of the seventh, to blow past Mountain View. Five players roped extra-base hits for the visitors, led by Katie Dales home run, while Staci Arthur picked up the victory on the mound to power the Chargers.
