LAYTON 57, WEBER 56

DAVIS 71, FREMONT 54: Jesse Wade poured eight 3-pointers on his way to 46 points and the Darts didn't look back after opening on a 28-9 run.

VIEWMONT 71, NORTHRIDGE 57: Viewmont built an early lead and held on for the win. Jake Walker led the way with 21 points.

REGION 4

AMERICAN FORK 80, LEHI 64: American Fork got off to a great start and held on for the victory behind 28 points from Spencer Johnson. The Cavemen led by 17 at the end of the 1st quarter.

PLEASANT GROVE 63, WESTLAKE 56: After a high-scoring first half, Pleasant Grove was able to slow it down and hold on for a victory in a tough Region 4 battle.

LONE PEAK 55, HERRIMAN 53: On a night in which neither team led by more than six, Lone Peak did just enough down the stretch to get the win. Frank Jackson scored 31 points for the Knights.

REGION 6

BOUNTIFUL 63, KEARNS 48: Bountiful kicked off region play with a nice home victory over Kearns. Thanks to a 20-8 run in the 2nd quarter.

HIGHLAND 75, EAST 51: Highland turned a one-point deficit at halftime into a 24-point win thanks to a dominant second stanza. Brandon Warr led the Rams with 22 points. East's Mark Jackson led all scorers with 25.

JUDGE MEMORIAL 47, WOODS CROSS 42: Bapa Falemaka had a double-double of 18 points and 15 boards to lead the Bulldogs.

CYPRUS 54, CLEARFIELD 44: Jake Kimball and Dallas Garreaud combined for 40 points as the Pirates opened region play with a victory.

REGION 7

SKYLINE 55, OLYMPUS 41: After Skyline jumped out to an early lead, Olympus attempted a comeback but it was too little too late in this Region 7 rivalry. Austin Stevenson and Alex Meldrum combined for 35 points in the region opening win for the Eagles.

TIMPANOGOS 52, MURRAY 44: With the game tied after three quarters, Timpanogos pulled away in the final frame to get the win behind a balanced scoring effort. Nate Hale led the way with 13 points. Caiden Brown and Tanner Melville added 12 apiece.

OREM 61, CORNER CANYON 60: Down nine heading into the fourth quarter, Corner Canyon fought back but fell just a point short. Orem got the win with a spread out attack as the Tigers had 4 players in double figures.

REGION 8

TIMPVIEW 61, SPRINGVILLE 51: Timpview methodically built a big lead and held on for the win. Britain Covey and Gavin Baxter combined for 25 points to pace the winning side.

MAPLE MOUNTAIN 62, PROVO 55: Kade Poulsen poured in 25 points with six 3-pointers in the victory over Provo.

SPANISH FORK 61, SALEM HILLS 52: With the game tied at halftime, Spanish Fork controlled the second stanza to get the win. Hunter Schofield led the way with 21 points.

NONREGION

WEST JORDAN 59, HILLCREST 49: West Jordan got off to a good start in region play with a home victory over Hillcrest. Dallas Winberg led the Jaguars with 13 points, including hitting two shots from downtown in the win.

JUAN DIEGO 73, TAYLORSVILLE 46: Gabe Colosimo scored 17 points to become Juan Diego's all-time leading scorer with 1,365 points to spearhead Juan Diego's rout of Taylorsville. Avery Ames led all scorers with 20 points to lead Juan Diego.

RICHFIELD JV 46, KANAB 43: Richfield's JV squad did just enough down the stretch to get the win.

ENTERPRISE 72, LINCOLN COUNTY, NEV. 37: Isaac Wallin poured in 27 points while teammate Travis Dougherty earned a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds as the Wolves ran away with the win.

REGION 1

VIEWMONT 44, NORTHRIDGE 27: Northridge got off to a slow start and could never recover.

LAYTON 56, WEBER 35: Layton only gave up one point in the third quarter, propelling the Lancers to the win. Hailey Bassett and Sunnie Martinez combined for 31 points to pace the winners.

FREMONT 55, DAVIS 28: Fremont controlled the first three quarters en route to the win. Shelbee Molen led the way with 16 points.

REGION 2

HUNTER 42, TAYLORSVILLE 37: Hunter did just enough to get the win. Kamia Taliulu and Jasmin Soi combined to score 32 of the Wolverines 42 points.

COTTONWOOD 46, WEST 42: Andrea Brady led all players with eight blocks and a double-double of 16 points and 20 rebounds as the Colts edged West in the Region 2 matchup.

GRANGER 50, HILLCREST 30: Granger methodically pulled away from Hillcrest for the win. Melisa Kadic led the way with 19 points. Rachael Taliulu had 10 rebounds.

REGION 3

BRIGHTON 72, WEST JORDAN 32: Brighton had a dominating win over West Jordan. Dani Barton, Brooke Ingles, and Lindsey Johnson combined for 52 points for the Bengals.

COPPER HILLS 60, JORDAN 26: Baylee Leiter scored 14 points to lead a balanced scoring attack for Copper Hills who opened region play with the victory over Jordan.

ALTA 59, BINGHAM 54: Sierra McNicol scored 13 points and Brandy Bookout added 12 more as Alta overcame a 14-point second-half lead to rally past Alta for the region-opening win, handing Bingham its first loss of the season in the process. The Hawks never led until overtime.

REGION 5

MOUNTAIN CREST 45, ROY 41: Mountain Crest picked up the victory on the road in a back and forth game. Down four heading into the 4th quarter the Mustangs were able to comeback and take the game.

SKY VIEW 48, BONNEVILLE 35: Sky View used a big first quarter to get the victory over Bonneville in a huge region matchup.

LOGAN 50, BOX ELDER 38: Kayla Hugie and Kira Peterson combined for 23 points to lead the Grizzlies in the Region 5 victory over Box Elder.

REGION 6

CLEARFIELD 53, CYPRUS 29: Clearfield jumped to a 27-10 lead at halftime and cruised to a Region 6 victory over Cyprus. Three players scored in double digits for the Falcons, including Lucy Evans who finished with 17.

BOUNTIFUL 59, KEARNS 35: Bountiful cruised behind 28 points and 14 rebounds from Kennedy Redding.

HIGHLAND 49, EAST 34: Trailing by four at intermission, Highland dominated the second half to get the win. Marlee Machon and Macy Wilson combined for 27 points to lead the Rams.

JUDGE MEMORIAL 59, WOODS CROSS 41: Judge Memorial dominated the first half en route to the win. Rachel Shubella led the Bulldogs with 19 points, including five 3-pointers. Halle Smith of Woods Cross led all scorers with 20 points.

REGION 7

OREM 37, CORNER CANYON 21: Corner Canyon was able to stick with Orem for three quarters, but didnt have enough in the tank down the stretch as Orem got its first region win of the season.

SKYLINE 39, OLYMPUS 37: Olivia Ellis and Hillary Weixler scored 12 points apiece as the Eagles prevailed after the Titans Samantha Soltis sent the contest to overtime with 10 seconds remaining.

MURRAY 53, TIMPANOGOS 48: Mickaela Rueckert led Murray to the hard fought victory over Timpanogos. Rueckert made a huge impact while only scoring four points to go along with her 10 rebounds and four blocks. Shay Porter led the Spartans in scoring with 18.

REGION 8

MAPLE MOUNTAIN 63, PROVO 41: Maple Mountain dominated the first and third quarters en route to the win. Liz Eaton led the way with 30 points.

SALEM HILLS 63, SPANISH FORK 46: Salem Hills was able to move to 2-1 in region with a runaway victory over the Mighty Dons of Spanish Fork. A huge third quarter led Salem Hills to the victory behind Jane Nelson's 21 points.

TIMPVIEW 58, SPRINGVILLE 49: Lyndie Haddock scored 22 points, while Lacy Haddock added 13 points and 15 rebounds to pace Timpview past Springville in a battle of undefeated Region 8 teams.

REGION 9

SNOW CANYON 65, HURRICANE 60: Snow Canyon won a hard-fought Region 9 battle behind Nikeena Durante 24 points. It was Snow Canyon's 1st region win as Hurricane fell to 0-3 in Region play.

CEDAR 34, CANYON VIEW 29: Courtney Morley scored 14 points and added seven rebounds as Cedar eked out the defensive victory over rival Canyon View to improve to 2-0 in Region 9.

DIXIE 61, PINE VIEW 51: In a back-and-forth game, Dixie turned a one-point deficit after three quarters into a 10-point win thanks to strong defense in the final frame. Alexa Estridge led the way with 26 points for the Flyers.

REGION 20

BRYCE VALLEY 36, VALLEY 26: Bryce Valley picked up a nice home win after a great 2nd half by the Mustangs. The Chynoweth sisters combined for 19 points in the hard fought victory.

PANGUITCH 84, ESCALANTE 12: Panguitch rolled over Escalante to stay undefeated. Ten players scored for the Bobcats, with Chesney Campbell and Darri Frandsen putting up 18 points apiece to lead the way.

PIUTE 69, WAYNE 53: Shaylee Gleave poured in 29 points as the T-Birds secured the region victory. Hannah Ellett and Courtney Jackson each contributed 16 points for the Badgers in the loss.

NONREGION

SOUTH SUMMIT 45, OGDEN 39: South Summit built a nine-point lead in the first half and held on for the win. Rachel Rydalch led the way with 12 points. Ogden's Xena Motes led all scorers with 15 points.

MONUMENT VALLEY 57, SAN JUAN 50:

MORGAN 73, TOOELE 33: Lily Henry had 17 points to go along with 13 boards while leading Trojans to victory. The White Buffalos were able to keep it close, but a huge second quarter helped Morgan run away with the victory.

DELTA 59, STANSBURY 49: Harlee Willoughby led all scorers with 17 points as the Rabbits defeated the Stallions.

GREEN RIVER 50, INTERMOUNTAIN CHRISTIAN 40

JUAB 53, NORTH SUMMIT 41: Hannah Robins, Savanna Greenhalgh, and Rylee Bryan each scored in double-digits as the Wasps defeated North Summit at home.

ST. JOSEPH 37, LAYTON CHRISTIAN 34: St. Joseph eked out the triple-overtime victory. Kathleen Tomon led the way with 16 points and a whopping 18 rebounds. Mady White added 15 points and nine rebounds.

PARK CITY 53, BEN LOMOND 39: Park City dominated the second and third quarters to gain control and held on for the win. Jessica Perry paced the Miners with 24 points.

AMERICAN LEADERSHIP 47, ROCKWELL 30: ALA dominated the second and third quarters to take control and wound up with the win. In a balanced scoring attack, Cristian Calvas and Taps Tuaone led the way with nine points apiece.

KANAB 58, RICHFIELD 56: Channing Jackson connected on a putback with 0.3 seconds to go to give Kanab the dramatic win. Shaylee McDonald led Kanab with 21 points.

SOUTH SEVIER 53, MILFORD 33: Brielle Chisholm led the Rams with 12 points in the victory over Milford. Emily Barnes led all scorers with 15 points in the loss.

GRANTSVILLE 35, SUMMIT ACADEMY 23: After a close game through the third quarter, Grantsville was able to extend the lead in the fourth quarter and pick up the victory behind Abby Butlers double-double.

PAROWAN 43, ALAMO, NEV. 23: A strong second half helped Parowan get its first win of the season. Taylor Robb and Autumn Rogerson had 12 points apiece to lead the Rams. Robb also pulled down 11 rebounds for a double-double.

WENDOVER 68, WEST WENDOVER, NEV. 64: Wendover was able to defeat West Wendover in a crosstown battle. It was a close game throughout however the Wildcats had four players in double figures which helped lead them to the victory.

NORTH SEVIER 69, GUNNISON 38: North Sevier continued a succesful season with a run away victory over Gunnison. Peyton Torgerson had double-double with 26 points and 10 rebounds in the win.

CARBON 49, FRUITA MONUMENT, COLO. 27: Carbon had a blowout victory at home vs. Fruita Monument. After being up by 24 at half, Carbon sailed to the victory.

ROWLAND HALL 50, AMERICAN PREPARATORY ACADEMY 21: Alyssa Cole and Candice Nkoy each poured in 10 points for the Winged Lions in the decisive victory at home.
