SNOW CANYON 66, CANYON VIEW 55: Brock Staheli sparked Snow Canyon with 21 points and the Warriors outdid Canyon View by 15 points in the second half for the Region 9 victory. Keaton Kringlen led all scorers with 22 points for the Falcons in the loss.

DESERT HILLS 56, DIXIE 54: Quincy Mathews went the length of the floor, pulled up just inside the 3-point line, and hit a jumper as time expired to lift the Thunder over Dixie in the region contest. Mathews finished with 18 points while Austin Adams added 11 and Max Mills had 10 with two 3-pointers. Tyler Bennett led all scorers with 22 points for the Flyers in the loss.

PINE VIEW 49, HURRICANE 38: Kody Wilstead scored 13 points, while Garrett Bowker and Jed Newby added 10 points each as Pine View topped Hurricane to improve to 8-0 overall and 2-0 in Region 9.


LOGAN 71, MAYFAIR, CALIF. 54: Tyler Brimhall powered the Grizzlies with 27 points and six 3-pointers to lead Logan in the Tarkanian Classic. Jaxton Anderson had 12 points and Jason Anderson added 11.

WEST LINN, ORE. 64, LONE PEAK 49: Frank Jackson and Christian Popoola combined for 29 points but it wasnt enough as Lone Peak fell to West Linn, Ore. in the first day of the Tarkanian Classic in Las Vegas.

NORTHRIDGE 71, STANSBURY 59: Braxton Geiselmayr poured in 27 points with five 3-pointers as the Knights cruised to the comfortable victory at home.

BRIGHTON 66, SPANISH FORK 60: Brock Miller scored 25 points as Brighton overcame an 11-point second-half deficit to rally past Spanish Fork for the nonregion victory.


CARBON 66, UNION 59: Cole Fossat had a gigantic game, leading the Dinos with 25 points and five 3-pointers for the seven-point victory. Brady Nielsen also played big, leading all scorers with 30 points and six 3s for Union in the loss.

OREM 63, LOS ANGELES POLY, CALIF. 49: Wilhelm Clark sparked the Tigers with 18 points, six boards, and four steals to lead Orem in the tournament victory.


SOUTH SEVIER 43, JUAB 39: Kolten Bigelow led the Rams with 21 points and five rebounds, and South Sevier took advantage of a strong second quarter to pull away in the road win.

NORTH SANPETE 73, GUNNISON 60: Spencer Applegarth led the Hawks with 17 points in the victory.

AMERICAN LEADERSHIP 61, ROWLAND HALL 55: Jacob Garcia and Cache Fulton each recorded double-doubles to lead the Eagles over Rowland Hall.

HUNTER 61, MORGAN 52: Mckay Meidlinger led all scorers with 21 points as the Wolverines picked up the home victory over Morgan.


ST. JOSEPH 76, TELOS 39: Nick Gruet and Chris OBrien combined to score 33 points and the Jayhawks outscored Telos 28-5 in the opening quarter for the home victory.

PANGUITCH 53, ENTERPRISE 43: Panguitch used a strong first and third quarter to knock off Enterprise to improve to 5-0 this preseason.

VALLEY 61, KANAB 52: Kobe Shatto earned a game-high of 23 points to lead the Buffaloes in the home victory.

WEST DESERT 79, MOUNT VERNON 61: Devin Timm had a game-high 32 points and Caleb Baker added 21 points to lead the Hawks in the high-scoring victory at home. For Mount Vernon in the loss, Scott Wang had 28 points while Somtochukwu Achebo added 23.

GRANTSVILLE 66, OGDEN 50: The Cowboys limited Ogden to just four 3-pointers and used a full team effort on the offensive end for the double-digit victory. Cameron Potter led the scoring with 19 points while Aaron Harrison and Braden Sandberg added 16 and 14, respectively.

PAROWAN 62, BRYCE VALLEY 51: Five different players reached double-digits for the Rams, led by Shandon Clark with 17 points, in the victory over Bryce Valley. In the loss, Kix Roundy led all scorers with 21 points



WENDOVER 53, WEST RIDGE ACADEMY 39: Landyn Shepard led the Wildcats with 14 points, 10 boards, and five blocks while Damion Valadez had 13 points in the win.

TINTIC 61, USDB 22: Corbin Fitzgerald led all scorers with 23 points to lead Tintic to the home victory.

DUCHESNE 62, PINNACLE 53: The Eagles played consistently throughout the game, maintaining a first-half lead for the road victory. Wyatt Remund led the way with 20 points while Daniel Hanberg and Blake Jones added 15 and 11 points, respectively. Noah Mascarenas led all scorers with 23 points and six 3-pointers for the Panthers in the loss.

AMERICAN FORK 56, WEST JORDAN 26: American Fork jumped out to a 19-4 lead in the first quarter and never looked back as 11 different Cavemen scored en route to the win over West Jordan.

JUDGE MEMORIAL 72, WEST 42: Rachel Shubella led three Bulldogs in double figures with 19 points while pulling down six boards, dishing five assists with five steals.

HIGHLAND 48, CORNER CANYON 26: The Rams opened the second half on an 18-4 run as Lea Havili and Macy Wilson combined for 21 points.

ENTERPRISE 43, HURRICANE 41: Riley Lyman led the Wolves balanced attack with 11 points in a narrow victory.

MAESER PREP 33, AMERICAN LEADERSHIP 32: The Eagles rallied for a 16-4 run in the fourth quarter, but it wasnt enough as the Lions snatched up the win by one point. Bella Harington led Maeser Prep with 14 points in the victory.

JUAN DIEGO 57, TIMPVIEW 44: Twin sisters Dominique Mills and Monique Mills both recorded double-doubles to lead the Soaring Eagle. The former notched 20 points and 11 rebounds while the former had 12 points and 11 boards, and Juan Diego used an eight-point edge in the second quarter to establish a gap in the win over Timpview.

CARBON 32, UINTAH 25: The Dinos went on a 19-9 run in the fourth quarter to rally past the Utes and secure the road victory.
