SKY VIEW 59, AMERICAN FORK 56: Jake Hendricks drained six 3-pointers to finish with a game-high 25 points to pace Sky View to the impressive victory over American Fork at the Utah Elite on American Forks home court. Brendan Bailey scored 17 points to lead the Cavemen in the loss.

BINGHAM 71, CORNER CANYON 50: Bingham outscored Corner Canyon 23-7 in the fourth quarter to pull away for the win at the Utah Elite 8 tournament at American Fork.

DAVIS 60, MOUNTAIN CREST 39: Jesse Wade poured in 28 points, while Landon Swartz added 16 points as Davis built an early 15-6 lead over Mountain Crest and coasted the rest of the way for the victory at the Ute Elite 8 at American Fork.

LAYTON 52, BRIGHTON 49: Matt Cragun drained the go-ahead 3-pointer with 2.8 seconds remaining to lift the Lancers.

HERRIMAN 68, NORTHRIDGE 54: David Maynard scored 20 points and Tyus Jefferson added 17 points as Herriman took care of business against Northridge from start to finish.

VIEWMONT 56, BOUNTIFUL 52: Viewmonts four-point lead at the end of the first quarter proved to be the difference as the Vikings bested the Braves. Jake Walker and Austin Johnson combined for 42 points to pace the winners, including five 3-pointers each.

BONNEVILLE 59, MORGAN 40: Sealun Erskine scored 13 points, while Jaysten Flowers added 12 points and four 3-pointers to pace Bonneville to the nonregion win.

COPPER HILLS 68, WOODS CROSS 56: In an otherwise close game, Copper Hills dominated the second quarter and held on to the lead to get the win. Porter Hawkins led the way with 27 points.

OREM 52, KAHUKU, HAWAII 40: Richard Harward recorded 15 points and 12 rebounds while teammate Wilhelm Clark added 15 points, six rebounds and eight steals to pace host Orem to the easy victory over Kahuku, Hawaii at the Free Tax USA Shootout.

DENVER EAST, COLO. 52, JORDAN 41: Spencer Curtis scored 21 points and Calvin Hayward and Tanner Monson each added 10 but it wasnt enough as Jordan fell to Denver East, Colo. at the Free Tax USA Shootout at Orem High School.

MONUMENT VALLEY 65, NEWCOMB, N.M. 57: Monument Valley improved to 4-1 this preseason with a victory over Newcomb, N.M. as Sergio Morales led the way with 21 points.

PINE VIEW 50, MONUMENT VALLEY, ARIZ. 47: Garrett Bowker drained five 3-pointers and finished with 19 points and eight rebounds to leave Pine View to the narrow victory over Monument Valley, Ariz. in the first game of the NGS Classic in Page, Ariz.

BEAR LAKE, IDAHO 71, RICH 56: Bear Lake dominated the first half and didnt surrender in the second en route to the win.

OVERLAND, COLO. 76, WASATCH ACADEMY 65: Wasatch Academy fell behind early to Overland, Colo. and could never recover dropping its first game at the Free Tax USA Shootout at Orem High School. Koby McEwen scored 27 points in the loss for the Tigers.

TIMPVIEW 72, RICHLAND, WASH. 53: Gavin Baxter had a fantastic game for the T-Birds scored 26 points and grabbing seven rebounds to lead Timpview to an easy victory over Richland, Wash. at the Free Tax USA Shootout at Orem High School.

NORTH SANPETE 73, SAN JUAN 64: Brandon Lewis scored 17 points and Spencer Applegarth chipped in with 15 as North Sanpete overcame 11 3-pointers from San Juan to pick up the nonregion win. San Juans Jordan Blake led all scorers with 18 points and five 3-pointers.

BRYCE VALLEY 43, MILFORD 37: Ashlee Chynoweth scored a game-high 16 points as visiting Bryce Valley used a strong fourth quarter to pull away from Milford to open region play with a victory.


HILLCREST 39, CYPRUS 25: Hillcrest jumped out to a quick 13-4 lead after the first quarter, and Lexi Varanakis helped make it hold up as she led all scorers with 13 points.

NORTH SUMMIT 62, WEBER 52: North Summit built a 10-point lead in the first quarter and wound up winning by that same margin. Three players scored in double figures, led by Kasidee Evans 14 points.

WEST JORDAN 37, KEARNS 36: Siki Suguturaga poured in 21 points for the Jaguars as the Cougars last-second shot attempt missed the mark.

PLEASANT GROVE 46, SYRACUSE 41: Amelia Fullmer scored 15 points as Pleasant Grove jumped out to an early lead against Syracuse and never looked back in picking up the preseason victory.

CLEARFIELD 55, MOUNTAIN CREST 34: Amber Marshall scored 10 points to lead a balanced Clearfield scoring attack as the Falcons pulled away from Mountain Crest with a strong second half.

LOGAN 40, NORTHRIDGE 32: Kira Peterson scored 13 points as Logan used a big second quarter to pull away from Northridge for the nonregion victory.

LIBERTY, NEV. 38, SKYLINE 37: Skylines fourth quarter rally came up a bit short as the Eagles dropped their first game at the Las Vegas Invitational. Hillary Weixler led the Eagles with nine points.

SPRINGVILLE 49, BONNEVILLE 44: Savannah Sumsion recorded 17 points and eight rebounds, while Lydia Austin chipped in with 11 points as Springville edged Bonneville in a battle of consistent 4A contenders.

BINGHAM 52, HERRIMAN 40: Madison Loftus scored 19 points and Leya Harvey added 14 points to pace Bingham to the victory over Herriman as the Miners improved to 6-0.

QUEST PREP, NEV. 47, AMERICAN FORK 43: Paige Farnsworth scored 15 points and Maile Richardson added 14, but it wasnt enough as Quest Prep, Nev. edged American Fork in the first game of the Las Vegas Invitational.

JUAN DIEGO 62, WEST 36: Dominique Mills scored 22 points and sister Monique Mills chipped in with 17 as Juan Diego jumped all over West from the opening whistle to improve to 6-0 this preseason.

SKY VIEW 71, BURLEY, IDAHO 45: Sky View raced to a 42-21 halftime lead and coasted from there for the first-round victory at the Lady Bear Classic. Lindsey Jensen led the way for the Bobcats with 18 points, including three 3-pointers.

NORTH SEVIER 50, MILLARD 47: In a back-and-forth battle, North Seviers Meisha Johnson made two free throws with five seconds left to seal the win. Johnson found twine on all six of her attempts from the charity stripe in the final frame. She and Peyton Torgerson led the Wolves with 18 points apiece. Millards McKenna Rowell led all scorers with 19.

SPANISH FORK 55, JORDAN 49: Spanish Fork pulled away down the stretch to get the win. Emily Allan scored 23 points for the Dons, including four 3-pointers.

PROVO 55, PARK CITY 41: Rachel Carter led the way for Provo with 13 points, while Jenny Clark and Abby Moore each added a dozen as the Bulldogs pulled away with a strong fourth quarter.

DAVIS 47, ROY 42:

BEAR RIVER 63, OGDEN 53: After three back-and-forth quarters, Bear River stepped it up a notch in the fourth to get the win. Alyssa Park led the way with 17 points.

WATERFORD 40, AMERICAN LEADERSHIP 39: Freshman Morgan Kane scored 18 points as Waterfod eked out the win over ALA to improve to 4-0 this preseason.

NORTH SANPETE 48, UNION 32: Aubrey Madsen scored 13 points, while Angela Clayton and Ashley Nuttall added 11 each as visiting North Sanpete used a strong first and third quarter to pull away from Union.

SNOW CANYON 49, UINTAH 48: Shaylee Reed buried a game-winning jumper with two seconds remaining as Snow Canyon used a 17-8 fourth quarter to rally past Uintah for its first victory of the season.

MAESER PREP 42, PAROWAN 39: Andi Decker and Bella Harrington scored 10 points each to lead Maeser Prep to the narrow road victory over Parowan.

ROCKWELL 30, WEST RIDGE ACADEMY 14: Cassie Young and Lynsie Gifford displayed chemistry on both sides of the ball in combining for 15 points.

TIMPVIEW 54, HUNTER 44: Lyndie Haddock led three T-Birds in double figures with 20 points.

GRANTSVILLE 61, WENDOVER 53: Abby Butlers 19 points helped Grantsville pull away from Wendover for the nonregion victory.

FREMONT 73, BOX ELDER 41: Big first and third quarters helped Fremont build a lead and it routed Box Elder. Harley Hansen and Shelbee Molen combined for 36 points to pace the winners.

DELTA 44, EMERY 34: Brooklyn Henrie scored 10 points to lead a balanced scoring attack for the Rabbits, who used a strong second quarter to pull away for good to improve to 5-0 this preseason.

TABIONA 39, DUGWAY 20: Tabiona nearly doubled up Dugway after pulling away in the third quarter. Shaelee Nay and Gracie Rhoades combined for 24 points to pace the Tigers.

PINE VIEW 45, ENTERPRISE 44: Visiting Pine View eked out the victory over Enterprise in the back-and-forth game. Riley Lyman led Enterprise in the loss with 11 points.

CARBON 49, CENTRAL, COLO. 32: Carbon pulled away using a strong third quarter and 45 total rebounds. Lindsey Blanc led the way with 14 points.
