NORTH SUMMIT 41, LAYTON CHRISTIAN 0: Abel Portillo caught three touchdown passes, and rushed for another to lead North Summit to the shutout victory over LCA. Portillo also rushed for a TD, while quarterback Ryan McMichael finished the night with four passing TDs.

SUMMIT ACADEMY 55, GUNNISON 14: Hagan Hines finished the game 5-for-11 passing, two touchdown passes on the evening. Hines also carried the ball for 63 yards and two TDs, and caught two passes for 71 yards and a score in the lopsided Summit Academy victory. Joe Denos also had a pair of TDs in the region victory.

SOUTH SUMMIT 42, MILLARD 9: South Summit outscored Millard in both the first and second half to pick up the lopsided region win at home.


TOOELE 54, UINTAH 27: Jake Brady threw a pair of touchdown passes for Tooele Wednesday night, and rushed for another four TDs in the region victory over Uintah. Tyson Colton rushed for two Uintah scores in the loss and 126 yards.

BEAR RIVER 33, BEN LOMOND 22: Bear River built a big lead in the first half and hung on to beat Ben Lomond.

STANSBURY 42, PARK CITY 3: Landon Stice ran for four touchdowns, as Stansbury took an early lead and went on to route Park City. Zayne Anderson and Gage Manzione also found the end zone on the ground for the Stallions. Jared Robinson's field goal was the Miners only score.


DIXIE 42, CEDAR 10: Dixie outscored Cedar 28-0 in the second and third quarters en route to the big win. Trenton Miller ran for two touchdowns for the Flyers, as the home team managed to improve to 5-4 on the season.

DESERT HILLS 7, SNOW CANYON 3: The Thunder's lone touchdown in response to the Warriors' field goal turned out to be the difference in this low scoring matchup.

PINE VIEW 49, PAYSON 20: Pine View jumped out to a 18-6 halftime lead, and managed to score 21 points in the third quarter to bury Payson on the road. The win moves Pine View to 7-2 on the season, and 5-1 in region play.


FREMONT 41, VIEWMONT 16: Fremont jumped out to a 21-7 victory, and then managed to outscore Viewmont 20-9 in the second half to pick up a solid region victory at home. The Silver Wolves improve their already perfect record to 5-0 on the season with the win Wednesday night.

SYRACUSE 27, WEBER 7: Brandon Goncalves had two rushing touchdowns and Kole Tracy added another to pick up the win for Syracuse. The Titans' big 17-0 first quarter was too much for the Warriors to overcome.

DAVIS 39, LAYTON 30: Layton took a 24-22 lead into the halftime, but Davis managed to outscore the home team 17-6 in the second half to steal a decisive region victory on the road.


HUNTER 40, HILLCREST 13: Hunter's Joseph TiaTia had a monster game with six touchdowns on the ground (32, 46, 53, 68, 69, 70 yards, respectively) to lead his team to the road victory. The Wolverines used a big 34-point second half to pull away from the Hillcrest Huskies. TiaTia finished with 441 yards on 26 carries. The 441 yards are the second most in state history for a single game.

WEST 28, GRANGER 21: West led 28-14 in the third quarter, and managed to hold off a late Granger rally in the fourth quarter to pick up a much needed region win on the road.

COTTONWOOD 20, TAYLORSVILLE 17: Cottonwood did just enough to top Taylorsville.


ALTA 17, WEST JORDAN 14: Taylor Hintze's 40 yard field goal proved to be the difference maker for Alta in the narrow region win at home. Crosby Gull tossed a pair of touchdowns for the Hawks, including the go ahead score with an 8-yard dump pass to Lundon Rockwood in the fourth quarter.

BINGHAM 64, COPPER HILLS 3: Cameron Smith led the Miners with three touchdowns Wednesday night, as the Miners dominated from start to finish over region foe Copper Hills. Kyle Gearig tossed a pair of TDs, and rushed for another to help Bingham improve to 5-0 in region play.

BRIGHTON 78, JORDAN 76 (3OT): In a back-and-forth affair, Brighton narrowly edged Jordan in the battle of Region 3.


AMERICAN FORK 30, PLEASANT GROVE 10: American Fork outscored Pleasant Grove in each quarter en route to victory. Zach Katoa ran for two touchdowns, and Tanner Smith tossed for two to lead the Cavemen.

LONE PEAK 31, WESTLAKE 24: Talmage Gunther connected with David Flake on two occasions for touchdowns Wednesday night, with the second TD sealing the victory for Lone Peak. Gunther also rushed for a TD in the region win. Timothy Forsyth returned a kick 95-yards for a Westlake TD to bring the game level to start the second half.

HERRIMAN 49, LEHI 14: Herriman scored five touchdowns to pull away from Lehi for the big win. Braydon Kener punched in two touchdowns for the Mustangs in the win.


SKY VIEW 38, OGDEN 0: Isaac Herman had two rushing touchdowns, and hauled in a TD reception to help Sky View handily defeat Ogden at home. Garrrison Beach tossed a pair of TD completions to lead the home side to the region victory.

MOUNTAIN CREST 21, BOX ELDER 17: Mountain Crest picked up a much-needed region win, with a narrow 21-17 victory over visiting Box Elder Wednesday night.

ROY 41, BONNEVILLE 7: The Royals scored 27 unanswered points in the second half to secure the win and remain undefeated on the season. Nate Jones and Baby Tee Eteuati each ran for three touchdowns in the victory.


KEARNS 23, CLEARFIELD 13: A big second quarter helped Kearns pull away from Clearfield. Sione Finau ran for two touchdowns to lead the Cougars and Sam Fetzer also found the end zone with his feet.


OREM 59, SKYLINE 42: Orem won the third quarter 21-0 en route to the win. Tucker Camp threw for five touchdowns to lead the Tigers.

MURRAY 28, TIMPANOGOS 16: Murray pulled away in the third quarter and held on to beat Timpanogos. Drew Cash threw for three touchdowns to lead the Spartans, connecting with Riley Richmond twice and Isaiah Gibson once. Taylor Litson also scored on the ground for Murray.

OLYMPUS 41, MOUNTAIN VIEW 9: The Titans jumped out to a 34-2 lead at the half, and continued on to secure the Region 7 victory over Mountain View. JoJo Henderson ran for two touchdowns and finished with 207 rushing yards in the win.


TIMPVIEW 24, WASATCH 3: Samson Nacua gave Timpview a solid first half lead with three consecutive rushing touchdowns, as Timpview managed to remain perfect on the season at 9-0. Zach Simpson finished the scoring for Timpview with his 47-yard field goal.

SALEM HILLS 14, MAPLE MOUNTAIN 6: Salem Hills' Porter Gustin scored the two touchdowns the lead his team to the close, hard-fought victory over Maple Mountain. After giving up a long 79-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter, the Salem Hills' defense held Maple Mountain scoreless the rest of game.

SPANISH FORK 41, PROVO 28: Spanish Fork won the third quarter 21-0 to blow the game open en route to the win.


GRANTSVILLE 15, DELTA 12: Delta had the lead at the halftime, but Grantsville managed to reach pay dirt in the fourth quarter to pick up the victory over the Rabbits at home.

LOGAN 41, HURRICANE 21: Hunter Horsley connected with Chad Artist for a pair of touchdown receptions, and also connected with Hartman Rector for another pair of passing TDs for Logan in the win over visiting Hurricane. Horsley also rushed for a pair of TD's, and finished the night with six total scores.

JUDGE MEMORIAL 38, MANTI 7: Judge Memorial's Max Barnett had two touchdowns and Ayden Auer found Xavior Price for another score in the win. The stout Bulldogs' defense held Manti scoreless until the final minute of the game.

DUCHESNE 35, MONTICELLO 13: Dylan Despain put in a solid work load on the ground for Duchesne Wednesday night, rushing for a total of four touchdowns in the road victory. Cole Eldredge brought the game level with a 20-yard TD run, but Duchesne managed to score 20 unanswered points.

CORNER CANYON 21, WOODS CROSS 20: Corner Canyon used a fourth-quarter comeback to edge Woods Cross. Corner Canyon's Mike Ebeling threw two touchdown passes (Garrett Micheali and Riley Ogden were on the receiving end of those scores) and converted on a two-point conversion with just over a minute left in the game to give the Chargers the big road win and stay perfect on the season.

JUAB 18, UNION 17: Diego Carmona's 2-yard TD run with 49 seconds left in the game helped Juab improve to 5-0 in region play, with a decisive 18-17 victory over Union. Ty Winterton helped give Union a solid 17-0 lead, but the Wasps managed to score 18 unanswered points to steal the region win.

CANYON VIEW 55, EMERY 7: Canyon View's Braxton Higgins found the end zone four times, and Jackson Vasi added two scores as well in the blowout win over Emery. The Falcons jumped out to a big 41-0 lead at halftime, and never let the Spartans back in the game.

AMERICAN LEADERSHIP 32, PAROWAN 21: Dallen Short connected with Hunter Smith for two ALA touchdowns Wednesday night, and Short rushed for another TD to lead Parowan to a much need region victory. Bubba Robinson hauled in two Parowan TD receptions from in the loss.

RICHFIELD 41, CARBON 13: Brandon Willardson tossed a pair of touchdowns for Richfield, and rushed for another in the lopsided region victory at home. Chase Hernandez delivered a pair of TDs for the home team to break the game wide open. Logan Olsen scored both TDs for Carbon in the loss.

MORGAN 20, NORTH SANPETE 11: Tyler Kelsey led Morgan with three passing touchdowns, two of them to Jake Peterson, to lead Morgan to a decisive victory at North Sanpete.

MILFORD 59, MONUMENT VALLEY 20: Milford quarterback Jordan Hardy connected his receiver Nathan Barnes twice, and Carter Hardy rushed for two touchdowns in the region victory. Milford used a big 40-point first half to run away from Monument Valley.
