WOODS CROSS 3, MAPLE MOUNTAIN 0: Kennedy Yost netted two goals and Alyssa Mann added another as the Wildcats defeated Maple Mountain to move on to the next round.

TIMPANOGOS 3, OGDEN 0: Timpanogos controlled the first half and went on to blank Ogden. Devri Hartle found the net twice and Aspen Farrer scored once. Carly Nelson made some big saves to get the shutout.

MOUNTAIN CREST 3, OLYMPUS 2: After five penalty kicks on each side, Abby Bishop knocked in the winning goal to give Mountain Crest the victory in the first round of playoffs.

WASATCH 3, HIGHLAND 1: Katie Cranney scored three minutes in while Ella Ballstaedt scored in the 39th and then in the 70th minute after a foul as the Wasps advanced. Whitley Sargent led the defensive effort to keep the Rams at bay.

SKY VIEW 3, CORNER CANYON 1: Trailing at halftime, Sky View dominated the second frame to keep its season alive. Hannah Anhder led the Bobcats with two goals and Sammy Guadarama added another. Bayley Bruner found the net for Corner Canyon.

TIMPVIEW 1, EAST 0: McKenzie Brockbank scored in the 60th minute for the Thunderbirds and Daryl Kaufusi earned the shutout.

SPRINGVILLE 4, CLEARFIELD 0: Four different players contributed goals for the Red Devils in the shutout victory over Clearfield.

SKYLINE 4, BONNEVILLE 2: With things knotted up at halftime, Skyline controlled the second frame to come away with the win. Bella Sorensen led the way for the Eagles with two goals while Holly Daugirda and Emma Heyn punch in a goal apiece.


RIVERTON 8, TAYLORSVILLE 0: Hailey Skolmoski and Kirsten Spencer each contributed a hat trick for the Silverwolves in the blowout victory over Taylorsville. Brooklyn Best preserved the shutout in the win.

DAVIS 7, BINGHAM 0: Madi Garlock netted two goals to lead the Darts in the shutout victory over Bingham.

BRIGHTON 3, WEBER 1: Libby Deardon, Rachel Powley, and Angie Timm each punched in a goal to lift the Bengals over the Warriors in the first round of 5A Playoffs.

AMERICAN FORK 7, GRANGER 0: Brooklyn Vogelsberg and Kate Hegerhorst each scored twice to lead American Fork as it pummeled Granger. Three others scored for the winning side while Kenzie Jorgensen and Savanna Empey combined for the shutout.

FREMONT 3, JORDAN 0: Kassidy Gibson, Melanie Graves, and Kamie Hunter each netted a goal for the Silver Wolves in the victory over Jordan.

LONE PEAK 8, COTTONWOOD 0: Jessica Smith scored twice and six others found the net for Lone Peak as it dominated Cottonwood. Cassidy Smith got the shutout in goal for the Knights.

PLEASANT GROVE 5, HILLCREST 4: Trailing 4-3 with 10 minutes left in regulation, Pleasant Grove got the equalizer to send the game into extra time and then got the golden goal at the end of the first overtime to upset Hillcrest.

ALTA 5, VIEWMONT 4: In a wild back-and-forth contest, Alta came away with the win on Sadie Mertlichs golden goal in the 81st minute. After the two sides were tied in an explosive first half, the Hawks went up early in the second frame. Viewmont wasnt done though, as Tori Page scored her second goal of the day with two minutes left in regulation to force extra time. Alta had a balanced scoring attack, as five different players found the net, while McKenna Kimber and Brittany Sears scored for the Vikings.



VIEWMONT DEF. LAYTON 25-13, 25-21, 17-25, 25-16: Emily Madsen had 11 kills, 13 digs, and five aces; McKenzie Morris had 17 assists and three aces; and Rhiannon Jimenez had 15 digs and three aces in the region victory for the Vikings.

FREMONT DEF. SYRACUSE 21-25, 25-22, 25-16, 28-26: Madeline Vigil and Whitney Wray each had 18 kills in the region victory over Syracuse.


HILLCREST DEF. HUNTER 23-25, 25-12, 25-19, 25-17: Abby Siebers had 23 assists to lead the Huskies in the victory.

WEST DEF. GRANGER 25-21, 18-25, 26-24, 25-22: West defeated Granger in four sets.

TAYLORSVILLE DEF. COTTONWOOD 25-15, 25-10, 25-20: The Warriors defeated Cottonwood in three sets to remain perfect in region play.


WEST JORDAN DEF. COPPER HILLS 25-10, 25-20, 25-16: West Jordan picked up the region win over Copper Hills.


LEHI DEF. AMERICAN FORK 25-16, 25-17, 25-20: Toa Faleao had 11 kills and three blocks to lead Lehi in its sweep over American Fork. Ali Greenwood also had 11 kills for the winning side while Sydney White had 10 digs.

RIVERTON DEF. WESTLAKE 25-21, 25-17, 25-17: Setter Alexis Averett had six kills and served seven aces for Riverton in the win.


BOX ELDER DEF. BONNEVILLE 25-22, 25-12, 25-22: Box Elder earned the region victory in three straight sets.

SKY VIEW DEF. OGDEN 25-17, 25-7, 25-8: Sydnee Ahlmer finished with a .500 hitting percentage and six kills as Sky View stayed perfect in region play with the sweep of Ogden. Lindsey Jensen served 24 points for the Bobcats.

MOUNTAIN CREST DEF. LOGAN 25-22, 25-21, 25-14: Taylor Harvey had nine kills, McKae Kimball had six kills, and Emily Lundskog had four kills and 25 assists in the Mountain Crest victory over Logan.


BOUNTIFUL DEF. KEARNS 25-18, 25-15, 25-17: Bountiful controlled the match throughout en route to sweeping Kearns.

JUDGE MEMORIAL DEF. CYPRUS 25-14, 25-18, 25-14: Judge Memorial picked up the region victory in three sets.

CLEARFIELD DEF. EAST 28-30, 25-16, 25-18, 25-13: The Falcons were led by Kennedy Elwell with 16 kills and 15 digs, Alice Bocchiola with 14 kills and 23 digs, and Taylor Spaulding with 56 assists and 20 digs in the victory over East.


SKYLINE DEF. MURRAY 25-21, 17-25, 28-26, 25-16: Abby Selcho finished with 13 kills, 11 digs and five aces to lead Skyline as it bested Murray. Abigail Olds added 12 kills while Lauren Stephenson had three blocks for the Eagles. Lexi Davies had 16 kills and seven blocks for the Spartans.


TIMPVIEW DEF. SPANISH FORK 25-10, 25-20, 25-17: The Thunderbirds defeated Spanish Fork to remain perfect in region play.


SNOW CANYON DEF. CEDAR 25-6, 25-5, 25-11: Crash Parker led Snow Canyon once again with 14 kills as Warriors pummeled Cedar. Maddie Jensen added five aces for Snow Canyon.

HURRICANE DEF. CANYON VIEW 25-14, 25-6, 25-12: Hurricane defeated Canyon View in three straight sets.


PARK CITY DEF. UNION 25-23, 27-25, 22-25, 21-25, 15-11: Chrissy Glasmann had 16 kills, Jo Henry had 17 digs, Sammee Thomas had 26 assists, and Sam Tan had 22 assists as the Miners defeated Union in five sets.


BEAR RIVER DEF. BEN LOMOND 25-14, 25-11, 22-25, 25-16: Alyssa Park and Rachael Litchford each had 15 kills in the region victory over Ben Lomond.

TOOELE DEF. STANSBURY 25-17, 25-23, 23-25, 25-19: Brin Stewart led Tooele with a double-double of 15 kills and 13 digs.


NORTH SANPETE DEF. JUAB 25-10, 25-11, 25-14: Ashley Nuttall led the Hawks with 10 kills and Danielle Seely added 39 assists in the win over Juab.

PAYSON DEF. RICHFIELD 20-25, 25-10, 25-18, 25-15: After an early loss, the Lions rallied back to defeat Richfield in four sets.


MILLARD DEF. BEAVER 25-22, 25-15, 23-25, 25-21: Alicia Stringham had 13 kills and 20 digs and Kenzie Dearden added 29 digs in the victory over Beaver.


WATERFORD DEF. LAYTON CHRISTIAN 25-19, 26-24, 25-15: Waterford defeated Layton Christian in three sets.

ROWLAND HALL DEF. MAESER PREP 23-25, 25-16, 24-26, 25-12, 15-5 It took five sets for Rowland Hall to best Maeser Prep in region play. Sara Matsumura had yet another monster outing with 26 kills, 29 digs and eight aces for the Winged Lions while Maddie Hansen contributed 36 assists and Liza Badenhausen had 32 digs.


SOUTH SEVIER DEF. WASATCH ACADEMY 25-14, 25-14, 25-12: South Sevier routed Wasatch Academy in a sweep.

SAN JUAN DEF. GRAND 24-26, 25-23, 25-12, 25-12: The Broncos rallied to take three frames after an early loss to pick up the region victory.


NORTH SUMMIT DEF. SOUTH SUMMIT 25-13, 27-25, 25-19: North Summit finished with 34 kills and nine stuff blocks in its sweep of South Summit.



MONTICELLO DEF. MONUMENT VALLEY 25-19, 25-14, 23-25, 25-9: Monticello picked up the win over Monument Valley in four sets to remain undefeated in region play.

GREEN RIVER DEF. PINNACLE 25-17, 25-16, 25-15: Green River defeated Pinnacle in three strait sets.


MORGAN DEF. UINTAH 25-14, 25-15, 25-19: Jessica Carter had six kills and an ace as Morgan swept Uintah. Sarah Elton added two aces to go along with eight digs for the Trojans.
