SOUTH SUMMIT 45, LAYTON CHRISTIAN 0: South Summti quarterback Ty Jones completed 4-of-8 passes for 155 yards and three touchdowns, as the visiting WIldcats blanked Layton Christian to improve to 4-0 in region play. Colby Averett caught one of those TD passes for 94 yards to go along with his 179 rushing yards and two TDs.

MILLARD 43, GUNNISON 13: The Eagles did all of their damage in the first two frames, jumping out to a 43-6 lead in the first half and securing the region victory over Gunnison.

NORTH SUMMIT 55, AMERICAN LEADERSHIP 12: Ryan McMichael threw two touchdowns both to Baltazar Martinez and ran for two more to lead North Summit past American Leadership on the road.

2A SOUTH

SAN JUAN 46, ENTERPRISE 21: San Juan outscored Enterprise 32-14 in the second and third quarters to cruise to the region win at home. Trason Jack ran for two touchdowns to lead the Broncos in the lopsided win.

BEAVER 55, NORTH SEVIER 21: Beaver jumped out to an early 35-14 lead, and never looked back in the lopsided region win at home.

SOUTH SEVIER 56, PAROWAN 26: South Seviers dominant first half proved to be the difference maker as the Rams dismantled Parowan at home to earn the region win. Trevor Jones threw for three touchdowns on the evening to lead the home side. Brock Bastian hauled in a pair of TD receptions in the win.

3A NORTH

GRANTSVILLE 42, EMERY 19: After taking a small 14-12 lead into the half, Grantsville exploded for 28 unanswered points in the big second half of the region victory.

JUDGE MEMORIAL 48, CARBON 7: The Bulldogs opened the game with four scores in the first quarter, and didnt look back en route to pummeling the Dinos. Ayden Auer threw for two touchdowns, and Michael Kearns scored twice for Judge.

UNION 42, MORGAN 27: Nic Smith rushed for four touchdowns to lead Union to the win. Jake Peterson scored twice for Morgan in the loss.

3A SOUTH

MANTI 21, RICHFIELD 0: Bradly Sego dashed for two touchdowns, while Mantis strong second quarter helped the Templars blank Richfield on the road.

CANYON VIEW 35, DELTA 34: A furious comeback bid from Delta was put to rest as it came up short on a two-point conversion with less than two minutes remaining to give the Falcons the narrow win. Five different players found the end zone for Canyon View in the narrow victory.

JUAB 41, NORTH SANPETE 13: Nick Robins tossed four touchdowns on the night for Juab, three to Dedric Davidson, to lead the visitors to a lopsided region win at North Sanpete. Davidsons three TD receptions totaled just over 150 yards to help the Wasps improve to 6-1 on the season. Spencer Applegarth scored both of the Hawks touchdowns.

3AA NORTH

STANSBURY 42, TOOELE 21: Stansbury got rolling early and Landon Stice tallied three touchdowns on the ground, while Gage Manzione added two more to push the Stallions past Tooele.

JUAN DIEGO 35, UINTAH 28: Kenzey Sanchez scored from a yard out with less than four minutes remaining to help Juan Diego stay undefeated in region play. Gabe Colosimo threw three touchdowns for the Soaring Eagle, two of which were caught by Joel Bruder. Four different players found the end zone for the Utes in the loss.

PARK CITY 45, BEN LOMOND 26: Park City controlled the second half to get the win. Colin Zur found three different receivers for touchdowns to lead the Miners. Four different players scored for the Scots in the region loss.

3AA SOUTH

PINE VIEW 46, CEDAR 24: Jaden Peterson and Pano TiaTia combined for four rushing touchdowns, as Pine View rolled over Cedar at home. Kody Wilstead also threw three TDs in the win.

HURRICANE 21, SNOW CANYON 13: Jeremiah Ieremia ran for two scores and teammate Nick McDaniel ran for another, as the Tigers edged Snow Canyon on the road to remain undefeated in region play.

DIXIE 17, DESERT HILLS 16: Dixie ended the first half on a 7-0 run and ended the game with a touchdown to escape with the narrow one-point victory over Desert Hills. Ammon Takau darted for two touchdowns including a seven-yard dash that won the game to power the home team in the win.

REGION 1

FREMONT 31, NORTHRIDGE 14: Haze Hadley ran for a touchdown and caught two more from Justin Shaw to help propel Fremont over Northridge on the road.

SYRACUSE 8, VIEWMONT 6: Romney Harker hit a pair of critical field goals for Syracuse, and a Titans safety proved to be the difference in the narrow region win over Viewmont. The Vikings lone score of the night came on a pass completion from Cole Huish to Chase Beckman in the loss.

WEBER 14, LAYTON 7: The Warriors edged Layton in the narrow region matchup. Weber remains undefeated in region play.

REGION 2

HUNTER 40, WEST 16: Joseph TiaTia had 20 carries for 209 yards and two touchdowns to lead Hunter in a convincing win over West. Jordan Lutui had two fumble recoveries for touchdowns to aid the Wolverines cause.

COTTONWOOD 19, GRANGER 14: Cottonwood held on for the narrow victory over Granger to improve to 1-1 in region play.

TAYLORSVILLE 31, HILLCREST 6: The Warriors held the Huskies to just one scoring play in the lopsided region matchup. Kingston Limutau and Toa Muamua each ran in two TDs for Taylorsville in the win.

REGION 3

BRIGHTON 52, COPPER HILLS 3: Brighton did all but three points of its damage in the first half as the Bengals cruised past Copper Hills on the road.

JORDAN 48, WEST JORDAN 16: Jordan doubled up West Jordan in the first half and secured the region road victory with a dominant second half. Austin Kafentzis passed for three touchdowns and rushed for two more pacing the Diggers to the victory.

REGION 4

RIVERTON 32, LEHI 13: Zac Lallis rushed for three touchdowns as Riverton cruised to the win thanks to a dominant third quarter. The Silverwolves broke the game open with 21 unanswered points in the third quarter, as the visitors improved to 6-1 on the season.

AMERICAN FORK 24, HERRIMAN 21: Jackson Nadauld booted a 30-yard field goal in overtime as American Fork edged Herriman in overtime to improve to 4-0 in Region. Herriman went first in overtime, and its possession ended with a bad snap on fourth down. American Fork QB Tanner Smith completed 23 of 31 passes for 285 yards and a touchdown, while he also caught a TD pass from Jace Miller.

LONE PEAK 24, PLEASANT GROVE 21: After falling behind 14-0 after the first quarter, Lone Peak outscored Pleasant Grove 14-0 the rest of the way to force overtime. Sam Kramer drilled a 27-yard field goal in the second overtime which Brooks Goeckeritz followed up with a game-clinching interception to power the Knights.

REGION 5

SKY VIEW 28, LOGAN 13: After falling behind 13-0 after the first quarter, Sky View finished the game on a 28-0 run to come away on top against Logan. Isaac Hermann hit pay dirt three times to power the Bobcats in the win, while Kinkade Wildman threw two TDs in the loss.

BOX ELDER 42, BONNEVILLE 27: Quarterback Connor Udy ran for four touchdowns to lead Box Elder as it played a solid game on both sides of the ball to beat Bonneville.

ROY 70, OGDEN 0: Tyler Skidmore tossed four touchdown passes, and eight different players reached pay dirt to help Roy in the shutout victory over visiting Ogden. Cody Hobbs was the only player for the Royals to finish with multiple TDs on the night.

REGION 6

WOODS CROSS 28, HIGHLAND 12: Tomasi Giles rushed for two touchdowns and Tanner Hammond threw for one and ran for another as Woods Cross stayed perfect. John Hunter scored both of Highlands touchdowns in the loss.

BOUNTIFUL 42, KEARNS 0: Bountiful jumped out to a commanding 28-point lead at the break and held on in the second half to blow past Kearns on the road. Max Tooley rushed for a pair of touchdowns for the Braves, and Jake Lindsey connected with Kade Larsen twice for TDs to lead the Bountiful offense.

CLEARFIELD 47, CYPRUS 32: Clearfields strong first half proved to be the difference maker as the Falcons soared over Cyprus on the road. Travis Gravely scored the first two TDs of the game and Jace Haney finished the night with four passing touchdowns to power Clearfield. AJ Semeatu scored four of the Pirates five TDs to lead the home team.

REGION 7

CORNER CANYON 42, SKYLINE 28: Mike Ebeling threw for two touchdowns and ran for another to help Corner Canyon stay perfect. Riley Ogden ran for two more to aid the Chargers while quarterback Braxton Chipman was responsible for all of Skylines scores in the loss with two passing and two rushing touchdowns.

MURRAY 42, MOUNTAIN VIEW 0: The 1-2 punch of Murrays Drew Cash and Mitch Rasmussen helped the Spartans blow past Mountain View at home. Cash threw five touchdown passes--four of which were to Rasmussen--to anchor the home teams high-octane offense in the win.

OLYMPUS 38, TIMPANOGOS 7: Olympus scored double-digits in three of the four quarters as the Titans rolled over Timpanogos on the road.

REGION 8

SPRINGVILLE 38, PROVO 28: Scott Averett ran for two scores while teammate Zach Gordon ran for two more to help Springville knock off Provo at home.

NONREGION

BEAR RIVER 17, PAYSON 10: Bear River was able to hit pay dirt in overtime and hold off Payson to pick up the thrilling overtime victory. Cole Fronk ran for a TD and caught the five-yard, game-clinching touchdown pass to power the Bears in the narrow win.

DUCHESNE 37, DIAMOND RANCH 13: Duchesne took an early lead and added to it in the second half to pick up the dismantling victory over Diamond Ranch.

EAST 21, MOUNTAIN CREST 20: East was able to hit pay dirt off Gavin Herds one-yard scamper, and held-off a late charge from Mountain Crest in the fourth quarter to outlast the Mustangs at home.

SUMMIT ACADEMY 48, GRAND 8: Summit Academy started the game on a 28-0 run and finished strong in the second half to blow past Grand on the road. Hagen Hines connected with Steven Harp for a pair of Summit touchdowns, and Jeremiah Denos carried the rock into the end zone three times in the lopsided win.

KANAB 9, RICH 7: Visiting Kanab opened up a 9-0 lead in the third quarter on an Aaron Foster six-yard touchdown run and held off a late Rich rally for the surprising victory in 1A action. Rich quarterback Koy Brown scored on a late TD to make it a 9-7 game, but Kanabs defense held on late.

NEWCOMB, N.M. 34, WHITEHORSE 15

MONTICELLO 35, ALTAMONT 13: Monticello jumped out to a momentous 35-point lead at the break and cruised in the second half to pick up the road victory over Altamont.
