Provo police are asking for the public's help in finding 13-year-old Pablo Enrique Rivera, who is believed to have been abducted Friday by his biological father Juan Enrique Rivera.

According to a statement posted on the Provo Police Department Facebook page, Pablo Rivera's mother Maria Hernandez came home Friday night to find a note from her son saying he was going to Mexico with his father, who does not have legal custody of the boy.

Pablo Rivera has black hair and brown eyes, wears glasses and is around 5 feet, 5 inches tall.

The suspect is believed to be driving a white newer model Chevrolet 4-door sedan with Mexico license plates.

The boy's cellphone was traced to Barstow, California, Friday night but has since been turned off.
