SOUTH SUMMIT 62, EMERY 48: Beau Rydalch scored 20 points and grabbed nine boards, while Brad Richins posted a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds as the Wildcats outscored the Spartans 22-11 in the fourth quarter to advance to the 2A semifinals.

ENTERPRISE 62, MERIT ACADEMY 49: Enterprise jumped out to an early lead and outscored Merit Academy 18-11 in the fourth quarter to knock off the Knights and advance to the semifinals of the 2A Playoffs, where it will face South Summit. Justin Prisbrey led all scorers with 28 points in the win.

SOUTH SEVIER 49, PAROWAN 41: South Sevier outscored Parowan 16-6 in the third quarter, including a 10-2 run over the final four minutes of the quarter, to pick up the win and advance to the semifinals of the 2A Playoffs. Slate Blackburn led all scorers with 15 points in the win.

WASATCH ACADEMY 89, GUNNISON 47: Five different players scored in double figures, led by Geno Luzcandos team-high 18 points, as Wasatch Academy blew past Gunnison in the 2A quarterfinals. Gunnisons Kaz Mogle led all scorers with 24 points and five treys in the loss.


SNOW CANYON 54, RICHFIELD 36: Nate Gottfredson scored 13 points and Jacob Frei added 12 as Snow Canyon blew open a close game by outscoring Richfield 35-16 in the second half. The Wildcats led 20-19 at halftime, but Snow Canyons press caused them fits throughout the the second half.

CEDAR 40, JUAN DIEGO 35: Kyle Wood came up with a huge steal and lay-up with 1:08 remaining and then Dustin Staggs added two blocks down the stretch as Cedar survived a big upset bid from Juan Diego, which led 34-32 with 1:45 remaining.

PAYSON 55, PINE VIEW 48: Trailing most of the game, Payson closed the game on an 11-1 run to upend Pine View for the quarterfinal victory despite trailing by 12 points in the second quarter. Daniel Reno led Payson with 17 points, while Mark Wolf and Dallin Rowley added 13 each.

MORGAN 67, BEAR RIVER 54: Leading by just two at the half, No. 1 Morgan gradually pulled away from rival Bear River to claim the 3A quarterfinal victory. Matt Murdock led the way for the Trojans with 17 points, with Garren Miles adding 13. Stetson Summers led Bear River in the loss with 23 points, but the Bears simply couldnt overcome their 23 turnovers.


ST. JOSEPH 71, TELOS 49: Nick Gruet led three Jayhawks in double figures with 22 points.

TINTIC 62, INTERMOUNTAIN CHRISTIAN 17: Kenny Wall contributed 15 points for the Miners in the comfortable win over the Lions.

DUGWAY 50, WEST RIDGE ACADEMY 48: Tyrell Bear earned 16 points to lead the Mustangs in the narrow win over West Ridge Academy. In the loss, Luke Evans and Alec Metzger combined for 45 of the teams total points.

WENDOVER 74, WEST DESERT 45: James Trujillo and Hector Duran combined for 42 points to lead the Wildcats to the win over West Desert.


PANGUITCH 79, ESCALANTE 48: Trey Barney earned a game-high of 24 points in the victory over Escalante.

VALLEY 75, DIAMOND RANCH 58: Coleman Sorensen knocked down four 3-pointers and finished with 30 points as Valley used a strong fourth quarter to pull away from Diamond Ranch for the first round victory in the Region 20 Tournament.

PIUTE 67, MILFORD 45: Four players scored in double-digits for the T-Birds in the win over Milford. Jalen Hardy led all scorers with 16 points in the loss.

BRYCE VALLEY 63, WAYNE 48: Kix Roundy drained five treys on his way to 21 points as the Mustangs led 12-4 after the first quarter.


MONTICELLO 76, GREEN RIVER 53: Austin Maloy scored 19 points and Tanner Eardley scored 18 points in the win over Green River. Monticello remains undefeated in region play.

PINNACLE 61, WHITEHORSE 51: Cody Dean Sanchez led the Panthers with a double-double of 21 points and 15 rebounds in the Region 19 victory over Whitehorse.


HIGHLAND 56, WOODS CROSS 50: Henry Morris scored 17 points for the Rams as they secured the final playoff berth from Region 6 with the play-in game victory over Woods Cross. Jake Conner chipped in with 14 for Highland, Xequille Harry led Woods Cross with 17 points in the loss.

BRIGHTON 57, WEST JORDAN 46: Brock Miller lit up the net with 25 points as Brighton secured its playoff berth with the victory over West Jordan in the Region 3 play-in game. Leading by two heading into the fourth quarter, the Bengals pulled away with a 17-8 run.

PROVO 56, MAPLE MOUNTAIN 54: Cy Wright scored 14 points and Hunter Bailey added 11 more as Provo eked out a victory over Maple Mountain in the Region 8 play-in game. Chase Piggot his some clutch 3-pointers late in the game to seal the win.

SOUTH SEVIER 46, SOUTH SUMMIT 45: Brielle Chisholm netted a team-high 17 points, including the final five points for the Lady Rams, to help South Sevier escape with the narrow-biting victory and advance to the 2A semifinals. Alisha Lewis poured in a game-high 21 points in the tough loss.

NORTH SEVIER 54, SUMMIT ACADEMY 45: North Sevier outscored Summit Academy 18-6 in the second quarter to pick up the win and advance to the semifinals of the 2A playoffs. Peyton Torgerson posted a double double with 11 points and 12 boards, while Hailey Higgs chipped in 12 more in the win. Marissa Hathaway led all scorers with 17 points in the loss.

GUNNISON 38, GRAND 34: Madee Christenson posted a double double with 12 points and 11 boards to help propel Gunnison over Grand and into the 2A semifinals. The Croasmun sisters set the pace for the Lady Red Devils with eight points apiece in the tough loss.

ENTERPRISE 44, EMERY 30: Riley Lyman posted a double double with 10 points and 14 rebounds while Jaycee Reber chipped in eight more to help Enterprise slip past Emery and advance to the 2A semifinals.


DESERT HILLS 57, JUAB 29: Kenzie Done scored 17 points and was one of four Thunder players who scored in double figures as No. 1 Desert Hills easily took care of business against Juab to advance to the 3A semifinals. Blair Bliss added 12 points for Desert Hills.

CEDAR 43, CARBON 29: Javlyn Weaver scored 13 points, while Courtney Morley and Lisa Ballenger each added 10 points to lead Cedar to the convincing victory over Carbon in the 3A quarterfinals. After a sluggish start, Cedar pulled ahead by outscoring the Dinos 15-5 in the second quarter and never looked back.

NORTH SANPETE 48, HURRICANE 37: Taylor Gordon scored 16 points and Jacey Dunn added 11 as North Sanpete earned a wire-to-wire 3A quarterfinal victory over Hurricane for its 19th win of the season.

MORGAN 61, STANSBURY 24: Rashel Blazzard scored 17 points while Lisa VanCampen chipped in with 11 points and nine rebounds as Morgan overwhelmed Stansbury for the 3A quarterfinal victory. The Trojans led 18-2 after the first quarter and 36-10 at the half.


BRIGHTON 61, DAVIS 41: Senior Maddie Chin and freshman Dani Barton owned the Brighton paint, scoring 16 and 15 points, respectively, in the 5A quarterfinal victory. The Bengals forced 16 turnovers and scored 20 points off turnovers. Sarah Beecher led Davis with 16 points in the loss.

FREMONT 54, BINGHAM 41: Center Amanda Wayment had 17 points and 10 rebounds, sophomore guard Harley Hansen had 14 points and eight steals, and Kaelani Sagapolu pulled in 10 boards to lead Fremont in the quarterfinal contest. Sherdyn Parker and Madison Loftus had 12 points each for the Miners in the loss.

AMERICAN FORK 61, COPPER HILLS 51: Sophomore Jenna Shepherd propelled the Cavemen in the 5A quarterfinal round with 12 points, four assists, and four steals. Paige Farnsworth had 11 points and six assists while Taylor Moeaki added 10 points and five rebounds. Savannah Sandberg had 16 points and Shirsten Wissiner had 14 points for Copper Hills in the loss.

ALTA 50, RIVERTON 47: Mariah Martins four points all came in the final minutes as the freshman powered Alta past previously undefeated Riverton in the 5A state tournament. Martin also had five boards and three assists while Rachel McDonald scored 18 points with seven rebounds. Rachel Jenson played fantastic defense, had seven rebounds, an assist, a block, and hit two 3-pointers. Shelby Richards and Lateesha Richards each scored 13 points for the Silverwolves in the loss.

CANYON VIEW 5, RICHFIELD 0: Chris Perez scored two goals for the Falcons in the win over Richfield.
