RICH 74, ALTAMONT 40: Skyler Argyle and Wyatt Muirbrook scored 14 points each while McKay Jarman and Mitch Jarman added 10 points each as the Rebels dominated in the home victory. Dylan Lindsay recorded a game-high 21 points for Altamont in the loss.

Girls basketball


PANGUITCH 59, MILFORD 38: The Bobcats exploded in the final quarter, running away with the victory and maintaining their perfect region record. Darri Frandsen led Panguitch with 18 points while Chandler Rose totaled a game-best 20 points for Milford in the loss.


BRIGHTON 45, BINGHAM 33: Lindsey Johnson and Maddie Chin combined to scored 25 points as the Bengals first- and fourth-quarter defense came up big.

COPPER HILLS 63, ALTA 44: The Grizzlies established a big lead by the midpoint, and then cruised to the end behind double-figure scoring from four different players. Shirten Wissinger led Copper Hills with 15 points while Savannah Sandberg, Sarah Midgley and Kate Sisler added 13, 12 and 10 points, respectively.

JORDAN 36, WEST JORDAN 33: Aubrey Monson led the Beetdiggers with nine points and two 3-pointers for the home victory. Siki Suguturaga led West Jordan in the loss with a game-best 17 points.


RIVERTON 50, AMERICAN FORK 47: Kirsten Spencer and Latisha Richards each scored 13 points as the Silverwolves escaped another scare in Region 4 action.

PLEASANT GROVE 61, LONE PEAK 53: The Vikings, who totaled 26 points in the final quarter, were powered by MeKenna Miles 27 points and three 3-pointers. For Lone Peak in the loss, Kelsey McCann recorded a game-high 28 points with four 3s.

LEHI 52, HERRIMAN 44: Beth Beeston and Terra Tahbo had 14 points apiece for the Pioneers.


BONNEVILLE 57, ROY 44: Cortney Porter netted a game-high 25 points and hit five 3-pointers as Bonneville maintained its perfect region record. Kaitlyn Hurley and Aubrey Porter combined to score 32 points with seven 3s for Roy in the loss.

MOUNTAIN CREST 73, BOX ELDER 44: The Mustangs defense held Box Elder to just 10 points in the opening half to run away with the region victory. Bailee Willden led all scorers with 19 points while McCayla Hanks and Kelsey Kartchner added 16 points each.

SKY VIEW 61, OGDEN 27: The Bobcats outscored Ogden by 15 points in the opening quarter, and never looked back. Lindsey Jensen led Sky View with 17 points and Jessica Smith added 10 more.


CEDAR 61, PINE VIEW 37: Courtney Morley totaled 25 points as Cedar City used a big second quarter to pull away with the Region 9 victory.

SNOW CANYON 45, DIXIE 43: Grace Walton led Snow Canyon with 19 points as the Warriors edged Dixie on the road. Liz Empey led the Flyers in the loss with a 17-point, 12-rebound double-double.




PAYSON 56, CARBON 50: Dani Clyde and MaKenzie Simons scored 14 points each to propel the Lions past Carbon in the win on the road.

NORTH SANPETE 45, RICHFIELD 35: North Sanpete got off to a hot start and then held on to the lead as time wound down. Taylor Gordon led with 21 points and Jacey Dunn came up big with 10 boards.


BEAVER 52, PAROWAN 21: Schyler Jordan and Macail Wood combined for 26 points in the one-sided win over Parowan at home.

DELTA 38, ENTERPRISE 34: The Rabbits rallied from a two-point first quarter to capture the road victory on Sidney Springers 10-point night.

MILLARD 62, KANAB 35: Denise Crabb, Cheryl Stephenson, and Shantel Kesler each reached double figures as Millard nearly doubled the Kanab scoring output.


MAESER PREP 45, WATERFORD 34: Bella Harrington led the Lions with a triple-double, recording 12 points, 13 boards, and 10 blocks. For Waterford in the loss, Katie Haines had a game-high 18 points with four 3-pointers.

ROWLAND HALL 37, MERIT ACADEMY 7: The Winged Lions used stellar defense to cap its first outright region title in 24 years and first undefeated region run in team history. Ten different players scored for Rowland Hall, led by eight points from Olivia Mugweh.

ROCKWELL 47, LAYTON CHRISTIAN 36: Down nine going into the final quarter, the Rockwell defense held LCA to just one point and the offense bounced back for the Region 14 win. Anga AnQuin led all scorers with 29 points and three 3-pointers for the Marshals.




SUMMIT ACADEMY 59, AMERICAN LEADERSHIP 44: McKenzie Parker and Alyssa Richards combined to score 35 points and the Bears held ALA to just four points in the third period for the big win on Senior Night.

SOUTH SUMMIT 61, NORTH SUMMIT 49: Alisha Lewis and Taylor Reidhead scored 13 points apiece and McKaye Woolstenhume added 12 more as the Wildcats pulled away in the fourth quarter for the victory in the rivalry game.
