WASATCH ACADEMY 98, SAN JUAN 55: The Tigers scored nearly four times as many points as San Juan in the third quarter alone and Koby McEwen recorded a triple-double with 13 points, 10 rebounds, and 16 assists to lead Wasatch Academy.


MONUMENT VALLEY 76, WHITEHORSE 72: Demaine June, Kurtis Holliday, and Keelin Bedonie all reached double figures and the Cougars hit nine 3-pointers as Monument Valley rallied for the Region 19 win with a 33-point fourth quarter. Elijah Garcia scored a game-high 21 points for Whitehorse but the Raiders made just 21 of 50 free throws in the four-point loss.


TABIONA 58, ST. JOSEPH 54: Bailey Hogan led the Tigers with 24 points while Demont Nay added 14 with three 3-pointers. For the Jayhawks in the loss, Chris OBrien and David Donlevy combined for six 3s and 35 points.

DUCHESNE 52, MONTICELLO 49: Braxton Spencer and Trent Roberts scored 16 and 15 points, respectively, to lead the Eagles in the road win. For Monticello in the loss, Dillon Maughan and Austin Maloy combined for 33 points and five 3-pointers.

Girls basketball


DUCHESNE 46, MANILA 32: Mashaylee Giles recorded a game-high 19 points and Duchesne took advantage of a strong fourth quarter to pull away with the home win.


GREEN RIVER 71, NAVAJO MOUNTAIN 55: Kira Engleman and Taylor Johnson scored 16 points and grabbed seven and nine boards, respectively, as the Pirates established a commanding lead early and then rolled to the win.


TABIONA 70, PINNACLE 43: Jordanelle Jenkins had an 11-point, 11-rebound double-double and Shaelee Nay led all scorers with 17 points for the Tigers in the home victory.
