WESTLAKE 5, BOUNTIFUL 4: The Thunder came alive in the bottom of the seventh, scoring four runs to force an extra inning. Jake Mayer scored the winning run on Brycson Christensen's base hit.

SALEM HILLS 10, ROY 7: Taylor Snyder smacked a three-run homer to break the tie in the sixth inning, and Salem Hills held on to take the first round victory. Snyder finished with five RBIs on the night.

MOUNTAIN VIEW 3, LOGAN 2: Hayden Young finished the game 2-for-2 with a home run and three RBIs, and all five of Mountain View's hits came from the first three batters in the line-up.

CYPRUS 8, OLYMPUS 0: Travis Peterson went 3-for-3 Tuesday afternoon, and finished with a pair of doubles and three RBIs to lead Cyprus to a shutout victory at home.

TIMPANOGOS 6, MOUNTAIN CREST 0: Ryan Morin finished the game 3-for-3 with a double, as Timpanogos blanked Mountain Crest in the first round of the 4A playoffs. Mitchell Cloward fanned six batters in the win.

WOODS CROSS 8, PROVO 6: It was a shootout at Woods Cross, with both teams combining for eight runs in the first innings. The Wildcats would outhit Provo 14-5 in the first round playoff victory.

MURRAY 9, CLEARFIELD 3: Bo Shipley finished the game 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles, and Cam Howe struck out seven Clearfield batters to lead Murray to the win at home.

MAPLE MOUNTAIN 8, SKY VIEW 3: Kade Poulsen's double broke a 2-2 tie as part of the Golden Eagles' four-run fifth inning.


AMERICAN FORK 6, ALTA 4: American Fork's Riley Ottesen struck out nine batters and the defending champions survived a sixth inning rally to advance to the second round.

SYRACUSE 5, KEARNS 0: Jason Jourdan fanned nine Kearns batters, and only gave up four hit to lead Syracuse to the first round playoff victory.

TAYLORSVILLE 7, FREMONT 6: Taylorsville struck late, rallying for six runs in the sixth inning to steal the first round playoff victory over Fremont.

BINGHAM 6, COTTONWOOD 3: After Cottonwood grabbed the 3-1 lead in the top of the fourth inning, Bingham responded with five unanswered runs to finish the game strong.

DAVIS 10, WEST 7: Gage Cook smacked a pair of doubles, and Davis crept past West in the first round of the 5A Playoffs. Conner Blaisdell and Kody Day each hit a triple in the Darts' win.

RIVERTON 8, COPPER HILLS 7: Riverton's Sam Christensen produced the game-winning hit in the bottom of the eighth inning.

PLEASANT GROVE 6, JORDAN 5: Pleasant Grove opened the game with a four-run first inning, and were able to hold off Jordan for the first round playoff victory.

LAYTON 3, VIEWMONT 0: Dexter Paiz had three hits Tuesday afternoon, and Layton scored all three runs in the sixth inning of the first round playoff victory.

BINGHAM 3, ALTA 2: Bingham's Daniel Blanchard scored the golden goal less than two minutes into overtime.


HUNTER 3, NORTHRIDGE 2: Hunter's Nathan Gray scored the winning goal in the 76th minute.

COPPER HILLS 1, LONE PEAK 0: Alex Higuera scored the lone goal for Copper Hills in the first half, and Keaton Gallegos preserved the shutout to help the Grizzlies advance in the 5A playoffs.

VIEWMONT 2, FREMONT 0: Porter May registered the shutout for the Vikings.

LEHI 7, JORDAN 0: Caide Ramos produced a hat trick as the Pioneers cruised in the first round.

BRIGHTON 1, RIVERTON 0: Zach Bernardo scored the lone goal in the first-round matchup.

WEBER 2, TAYLORSVILLE 1: Brigham Harris dished out an assist while the Warriors' Codey Albretsen earned the win in goal.



MURRAY 4, EAST 2: Courtney Beavers broke a 2-2 tie in the fifth inning to help Murray slip past East at home. Emma Noble recorded a double and a triple for the Lady Spartans.

SALEM HILLS 10, ROY 0: Kirtlyn Bohling slugged a grand slam, and also picked up the win on the mound for Salem Hills in the shutout victory at home.

BOX ELDER 5, SPRINGVILLE 1: Bailey Reeves propelled Box Elder to the first round playoff victory, striking out 10 Springville batters to improve to 23-1 on the season. Venessa Quintero added a triple for the Bees.

OLYMPUS 9, CLEARFIELD 8: Despite falling behind 5-2 after the first inning, Olympus rallied for a wild victory over Clearfield as it pounded out 14 hits. Niki Eskelson homered and picked up the victory for the Titans, while Tina Ford and London Davis each went 3-for-4.

MOUNTAIN CREST 3, MAPLE MOUNTAIN 0: Perri Eck slugged a home run, and Mountain Crest scored three runs on eight hits in the first round playoff victory.

BOUNTIFUL 14, WESTLAKE 1: Belle Stoddard fanned 10 Westlake batters, and Bountiful picked up eight runs in the fourth inning to cruise to the first round playoff victory.

HERRIMAN 3, WOODS CROSS 1: Herriman strolled to victory in the first round of the 4A playoffs despite hitting just single base hits on Tuesday. Madison Sorensen hit a double and a triple for Woods Cross.

PROVO 6, BONNEVILLE 5: Lindsay Rowley smacked a walk-off single to give Provo the narrow victory at home. Kacie Allman slugged a home run and a double in the Lady Bulldogs win.


COPPER HILLS 3, LEHI 0: Ashley Clayson went 2-for-2 with two RBIs as the Grizzlies advanced.

DAVIS 12, KEARNS 0: Cheyne Moffitt belted one out of the park, and Davis marched for eight runs in the third inning to down visiting Kearns. Cheyenne Norton gave up just one hit in the shutout victory.

SYRACUSE 5, VIEWMONT 4: Cassidy Basinger blasted a home run for Syracuse, which would prove to be the difference in the Lady Titans' playoff victory.

RIVERTON 10, BRIGHTON 0: Kyrae Kogianes and Courtney Platt combined to pitch a one-hitter, striking out nine batters to lift Riverton to a shutout victory at home.


BINGHAM 8, WEST JORDAN 1: Bingham's Shea Ibrahim hit 3-for-4 with a two-RBI double in the third inning while Paige Reimann allowed just two hits and fanned seven batters while slugging a three-run homer in the fifth inning.

ALTA 2, LONE PEAK 1: Brooke Vander Heide's double brought home the winning run for the Hawks.

WEBER 6, HUNTER 5: Hannah Charlton hit the game-winning RBI single while McKenna Bull fanned 14 batters in the extra-inning thriller.
