NORTHRIDGE 48, FREMONT 42: The two teams combined for 18 treys, with every player on Fremont connecting on at least one shot from distance, but the play of Preston Christensen proved to be too much as the Knights notched the win.

DAVIS 71, LAYTON 64: Jesse Wade and Abel Porter each tallied 22 points apiece as Davis pulled away in the fourth quarter after seesawing back and forth with Layton for the majority of the game.

SYRACUSE 49, WEBER 48: Diante Mitchell and Michael Phelps combined for 30 points and Phelps added a game-winning 3-pointer to upset Weber. Hayden Schenck had 30 points in the loss.


WEST 69, GRANGER 66: With the score tied, Denzel Latu drained a half-courter at the buzzer to give West a victory over Granger. Denzel ended with 17 points including four 3-pointers and teammate Tyler Ferrell added two points. The Lancers' Arob Mandang had a game to remember as he recorded a triple double, scoring 20 points and adding 11 rebounds and 10 blocks.

KEARNS 54, VIEWMONT 43: Bushman Ebet had a game-high 14 points as Kearns outscored Viewmont 22-6 in the final quarter to earn the victory.

HUNTER 70, TAYLORSVILLE 56: Hunter jumped out to an early 21-6 lead in the first quarter, and behind Brandon Davies and Noah Togiai, never looked back in the win.



JORDAN 68, ALTA 57: Brandon Pasker scored a game-high 24 points in the overtime win over Alta. In the loss, Zach Rollins had 20 points, including four 3-pionters.

COPPER HILLS 61, WEST JORDAN 51: Darius Maluia, Danny Martinez and Porter Hawkins all scored in double figures, while Copper Hills collectively drained nine 3-pointers in its win over West Jordan.


PLEASANT GROVE 109, LEHI 107: Pleasant Grove finally pulled out the road win after four overtimes in the game against Lehi. Matt Conway, Riley Court, and Forrest Pincock scored 30 points, 27 points, and 21 points respectively for Pleasant Grove. In the loss, Blake Cleveringa scored a game-high 54 points, including six 3-pointers.

BINGHAM 60, RIVERTON 53: Bingham capitalized on a massive free throw disparity at home, knocking down 19-of-30 freebies to down Riverton. Brandon Morley had 21 points for the Miners and Stephan Holm scored a game-high 24 points with five 3-pointers in the loss for the 'Wolves.


LOGAN 74, SKY VIEW 73: Logan found its rhythm at the right time, scoring 29 points in the final quarter to stun Sky View. Taylor Compton, who scored 23 points, hit a 3-pointer with one second remaining for the win.

MOUNTAIN CREST 58, ROY 46: Mountain Crest's Tyler Crosbie led the way with 19 points with nine from behind the arc in the 12 point victory at home. Faimafili Laulu-Pututau threw down 17 points.

BOX ELDER 75, BONNEVILLE 45: Box Elder picked up a big Region 5 victory over Bonneville thanks in large part to Shad Watson who scored 34 points and hit eight 3-pointers. Besides hitting 11 treys as a team, the Bees' were stifling on defense as they captured the victory.


HIGHLAND 55, WOODS CROSS 46: David Divver and Riley Tucker combined for 28 points to lead the Rams.

BOUNTIFUL 75, CYPRUS 49: Bountiful picked up the road victory to stay undefeated in region play. Zach Seljaas led the Braves with 23 points Connor Squire led the Pirates with 22 in the loss. Despite losing, Cyprus made 28 free throws compared to Bountiful's 14.

EAST 64, CLEARFIELD 58: Parker Van Dyke scored a game-high 27 points in the East win over Clearfield.


MURRAY 58, HILLCREST 42: Dylan Ross scored a game-high of 16 points, including three 3-pointers, in the Murray win over Hillcrest.

WESTLAKE 43, SKYLINE 26: After a close first half, Westlake sealed the deal in the second half, outscoring Skyline by 17 points. Zavon Jackson had a solid outing for Westlake as he scored 16 points.

OLYMPUS 53, HERRIMAN 37: Jaren Jones scored 23 points for Olympus in the win over Herriman. In the loss, David Maynard scored 26 points.


MAPLE MOUNTAIN 58, TIMPANOGOS 52: Timpanogos gave Maple Mountain a run for its money in the fourth quarter but it was too little, too late as the Golden Eagles soared to victory. Josh Phelps was outstanding for the Golden Eagles, scoring 26 points including four treys.

OREM 81, MOUNTAIN VIEW 70: Led by Zach Hunsaker, who scored 22 points, the Tigers clawed their way to victory in a hard-fought contest. Dalton Nixon aided Hunsaker with 21 points while Mountain View's Ryan Warner scored 20 points and hit four 3-pointers in the loss.

SPRINGVILLE 63, PROVO 49: Springville added another win on an already strong season behind Max Schriener, who scored 28 points, and Bradley Kitchen. The Red Devils hit 23-of-33 free-throw attempts.

TIMPVIEW 71, SALEM HILLS 45: Taylor Roy, Britain Covey, Dax Raymond, and Leo Roese all scored in double-digits in the Timepview win over Salem Hills.


SNOW CANYON 53, DIXIE 44: Snow Canyon held off Dixie in a Region 9 matchup. Kallan Webster led the Warriors with 15 points.

DESERT HILLS 46, CANYON VIEW 41: Ty Rutledge had 18 points and seven rebounds and Quincy Matthews grabbed 10 more boards to push Desert Hills past Canyon View.

CEDAR 57, PINE VIEW 46: Dustin Staggs had 24 points and 13 rebounds and Mike Hourigan notched another double-double with 10 points and 10 assists for Cedar in the win.


PARK CITY 68, UINTAH 59: Park City was able to make free throws in overtime to secure the win over Uintah. Bosten VanDerVeur scored a game-high 24 points for the Miners.

UNION 68, JUDGE MEMORIAL 61: Union edged out Judge Memorial in an overtime thriller. There were nine lead changes in the second half leading up to overtime. Stephen Merrell led the Cougars with 22 points while Terrell Young led the Bulldogs with 16 points including four 3-pointers in the loss.


STANSBURY 59, GRANTSVILLE 46: Stansbury came up with the road victory led by Tom Griffith, who scored 17 points and hit two 3-pointers. Grantsville's Devin Adams scored a game-high 23 points.

BEN LOMOND 51, TOOELE 48: Ben Lomond connected on 15-of-20 free-throw attempts and Sterling Brandley recorded the double-double with 11 points and 10 assists in the win.

MORGAN 76, OGDEN 59: Ogden's Spencer Smith took control of the first quarter scoring 15 of their 17 points all from behind the 3-point line. Morgan did come back in the fourth quarter almost doubling their scoring. Jake Miles led for the Trojans scoring a game high 38 points, 12 from behind the arc.


SPANISH FORK 50, DELTA 48: Ty Henry and Benson Rhees teamed up for 30 points as Spanish Fork staged off a late rally for the win.

NORTH SANPETE 51, CARBON 43: Jake Bailey scored 23 points and Brian Jackson added 10 more as North Sanpete completed the upset over Carbon.

PAYSON 54, JUAB 43: Payson outscored Juab by 19 in the third quarter which proved to be the difference as it stayed undefeated in region play. Daniel Reno led the Lions with 13 points while Jacob Humphreys added 11 more.


PAROWAN 54, KANAB 35: Ryan Robinson, Jake Topham, and Justin Hulet all scored in double-digits in the Parowan win over Kanab.

ENTERPRISE 77, MILLARD 57: Enterprise earned the 20-point victory through a very balanced scoring attack. The Wolves had 10 different players score, highlighted by Isaac Wallin who scored 19 points and drained five 3-pointers. Teammate Justin Prisbrey added 18 points.


WATERFORD 52, MAESER PREP 46: Christian Mason dropped 23 points with three 3-pointers and Alex Millet had 19 points and with two treys in the win for Waterford.

SOUTH SUMMIT 75, ROWLAND HALL 59: Beau Rydalch tallied 22 points while Jay Reidhead and Brad Richins combined for 23 points in the win for South Summit.

SUMMIT ACADEMY 66, NORTH SUMMIT 60: Summit Academy outscored North Summit 20-13 in the final period to get the close win. Rashaan Griffin scored 18 points to lead Summit Academy while North Summit's Ben Stephens scored 18 points in the loss.


EMERY 72, SAN JUAN 41: Emery captured the double-digit road victory over San Juan as it outscored San Juan by 31 in the first three quarters. Dillon Wilstead scored 18 points and hit one 3-pointer to lead the Spartans.

SOUTH SEVIER 59, RICHFIELD 48: Race Parsons lit the scoreboard up once again, dropping 31 points to guide South Sevier to the win.


NORTH SEVIER 70, AMERICAN LEADERSHIP 62: Dakota Shepherd had a night to remember after dropping 33 points, nine coming from beyond the arc, to lead North Sevier to the win.

GUNNISON 53, MANTI 41: Colby Caldwell took the game over with 23 points while shooting 9-9 from the FT line. Nik Roberts and Braden Harris were dominate in the paint for the Templars.

WASATCH ACADEMY 77, MERIT ACADEMY 35: Koby McEwen, Geno Luzcando, Insa Kaba and Cody John all had double digit scoring figures as Wasatch Academy rolled to the win.


WEST RIDGE ACADEMY 58, ST. JOSEPH 50: Joe Giacchetti scored a game-high 27 points in the West Ridge win over St. Joseph.

LAYTON CHRISTIAN 111, MOUNT VERNON 23: Layton Christian led 29-7 after the first quarter as DJ Lacey led seven Eagles in double figures with 15 points.

INTERMOUNTAIN CHRISTIAN 54, OAKLEY 39: Zach Paige scored 24 points with three 3-pointers and Mikey Boettger added 18 points to propel Intermountain Christian past Oakley.


TINTIC 61, DUGWAY 25: Taylor Hurst scored 20 points for Tintic in the home win over Dugway.


PINNACLE 97, NAVAJO MOUNTAIN 34: Pinnacle put on a show as it earned the road victory and nearly reached the century-mark in the process. The Panthers had five players score in double-digits led by Jake Hardy who scored 17 points and hit one trey. The Jaguars' Alex Gishie led all scorers with 18 points in the loss.

MONTICELLO 70, WHITEHORSE 31: Monticello easily defeated Whitehorse as it started with a 23-4 first quarter and never looked back. Gunnar Hollingsworth scored a game-high 22 points for the Buckaroos.


PANGUITCH 75, MILFORD 47: Tyce Barney, Mason Orton, and Dalan Bennett scored 18, 17, and 16 points, respectively in the win over Milford.

PIUTE 85, ESCALANTE 65: Piute dominated the first half, outscoring Escalante by 24, and coasted through the second half to victory. Tyler Dalton scored a game-high 25 points and sank four 3-pointers for Piute while Dalton Steed added 20 more.

BRYCE VALLEY 85, DIAMOND RANCH 62: Bryce Valley earned the double-digit victory as it outscored Diamond Ranch by 34 points in the first three quarters. Braxton Syrett led the Mustangs with 22 points and two makes from behind the arc.

WAYNE 59, VALLEY 58: Ty Reese scored 27 points, including six 3-pointers, in the narrow victory over Valley.


RICH 66, TABIONA 47: Rich captured the victory as four players scored in double digits. The Rebels were led by McKay Jarman who scored 21 points and hit one trey. The Tigers' Monte Clyde also scored 21 points and hit four shots from behind the arc in the loss.

MANILA 60, ALTAMONT 42: Rustyn Burnside and Ben Rose both scored 14 points in the Manila win over Altamont. In the loss, Dylan Lindsay had 17 points.

Girls basketball


SYRACUSE 64, WEBER 53: Takenna Hamblin had 24 points, on 9-of-10 shooting, along with six rebounds, two blocks, and two steals to lead the Titans to the win.

FREMONT 60, NORTHRIDGE 40: Fremont took the lead in the first quarter and never looked back. Amanda Wayment, Shelby Molen and Tanesha Daniels all scored 13 points each. To contribute to the victory the team sank seven 3-pointers.

DAVIS 52, LAYTON 41: Davis took a scoring rampage in the fourth quarter outscoring Layton 20-9. Jessica Richardson scored 15 points and grabbed eight boards for the Darts. Morgan Hartvigsen scored a game-high 16 points with one 3-pointer.


GRANGER 49, WEST 27: Granger came alive in the second half outscoring West 31-14. Lile Havili led for Granger scoring 18 points with 10 boards. Jessica added eight assists.

VIEWMONT 54, KEARNS 34: The Vikings jumped to an early lead and sailed to victory over visiting Kearns. Katie Toole led Viewmont with 16 points while Caitlyn Larsen added 15 more.


AMERICAN FORK 48, LONE PEAK 35: Maile Richardson and Cassidy Fraughton combined for 23 points as American Fork opened the second half on a 16-3 run.


CLEARFIELD 58, EAST 37: Clearfield was carried in its win by Jocelyn Jones and Bailey Douglas who scored 17 and 16 points, respectively. The Falcons had a slow first quarter but outscored the Leopards by 22 in the three following quarters.

CYPRUS 54, BOUNTIFUL 49: In a hard-fought Region 6 match-up, Cyprus outmatched visiting Bountiful thanks to solid performances from Marquessa Gilson and Tori Dyson who scored 19 and 11 points, respectively.

WOODS CROSS 45, HIGHLAND 24: Wood Cross came alive in the second half outscoring Highland 29-13. Aubree Riddle scored a game high 15 point with three from behind the arc. Eden Jacobsen added 10 points.


HERRIMAN 40, OLYMPUS 35: The Mustangs used a balanced attack to knock off the Titans.

SKYLINE 45, WESTLAKE 38: Hillary Weixler scored 12 points in the Skyline win over Westlake. Macie Peterson scored a game-high 17 points in the loss.

HILLCREST 54, MURRAY 28: Whitney Nemelka had 18 points in the Hillcrest win over Murray.


SPRINGVILLE 61, PROVO 28: Malia Nawahine led three Red Devils in double figures with 21 points.

TIMPVIEW 48, SALEM HILLS 41: Lauryn Dela Cruz led Timpview to victory as she scored 14 points. Salem Hills' Missy Belliston scored a game-high 18 points, in the loss.

MAPLE MOUNTAIN 62, TIMPANOGOS 51: Tarin Strosser, Aleksa Gappmayer, and Katie Muhlestein all scored in double-digits for the Maple Mountain win over Timpanogos. Jamaica Christensen scored 24 points in the loss.

OREM 53, MOUNTAIN VIEW 52: Cylee Tuimaunei may have only scored five points on the night but she scored all three of Orem's overtime points to give it a victory. Selesitila Tenney and Tatiana Monsen led the Tigers with 13 points apiece.


PARK CITY 47, UINTAH 46: Park City scored 21 points in the final quarter, and despite scoring only eight points in the first half, pulled off the upset at home.

JUAN DIEGO 51, WASATCH 45: Monique Mills had a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds in the Juan Diego win over Wasatch. In the loss, Rebecca MaWhinney scored a game-high 23 points.

JUDGE MEMORIAL 77, UNION 47: Judge Memorial picked up the big road win led by Kailie Quinn who scored 34 points and drained one trey. Despite the loss, the Cougars hit 19 free throws compared to the Bulldogs' 13.


BEAR RIVER 52, STANSBURY 48: Jordan Theurer dropped a game-high 20 points to help Bear River earn the win.


PAYSON 35, JUAB 33: In a neck-and-neck game, Payson edged out the victory in the fourth quarter. Alex Ford led the way with nine points including three from behind the arc.


EMERY 65, SAN JUAN 38: Emery clamped down defensively in the first half, limiting San Juan to 15 points as it built an 18-point first half advantage. Bailey Rasmussen had 14 points in the win while Brooke Lyman tallied a game-high 23 points for the Broncos.


MONUMENT VALLEY 63, GREEN RIVER 61: Monument Valley, behind Heidi Nelson and Cassidy Augustine, held off a fourth quarter rally to top Green River. The Cougars jumped out of the gates in the second half on a 21-7 run.

MONTICELLO 55, WHITEHORSE 44: Mary Beh was the high-scorer with 18 points in the Monticello win over Whitehorse.


RICH 49, TABIONA 21: Rich slowly but steadily increased its lead over Tabiona to stay undefeated in region play. Emma Peart led the Rebels with 13 points while teammate Alyssa Brown added 12 more.


DUCHESNE 49, GRAND 26: Duchesne jumped out to an early lead and beat Grand on the road. Mashaylee Giles led the Eagles with 24 points.
