NORTHRIDGE 27, WEBER 3: Northridge worked its way to a 14-point advantage at the half, and was able to hold Weber scoreless in the final three quarters of play and to just 108 yards in the game. David Adams accumulated 212 total yards and carried the ball into the end zone on three seperate occasions, while Jaimes Baird split the uprights with field goals of 33 & 34 yards in the Knights region victory.

SYRACUSE 31, LAYTON 0: Syracuse racked up 355 yards of total offense while holding Layton to only 103 yards in the commanding victory. Brock Anderson went 10 for 15 with 133 total passing yards and also had nine rushes for 46 yards, and Mason Woodward rushed 16 times for 70 total yards in the win.

DAVIS 35, FREMONT 21: The Davis defense held Fremont to 50 net rushing yards on 15 attempts to grab the region win. The Darts were led by Gage Cook, who had 76 yards on 19 carries, and teammate Abel Porter, who had seven catches for 109 yards and a touchdown.


GRANGER 19, VIEWMONT 13: Tani Lehauli rushed for 136 yards and a touchdown on 26 carries to lead the Lancer offense in the narrow victory. The Granger defense had seven sacks and was led by Mone Latu, who had 14 tackles and 4.5 sacks.

KEARNS 46, TAYLORSVILLE 0: Kearns' James Felila gained 280 yards on 16 carries with four scores as the Cougars held the Warriors to 138 total yards.

HUNTER 41, WEST 3: Hunter dominated the rushing game with 225 yards -- 165 of those coming in the first half -- to cruise forward in the region battle at West. Treyvon Johnson had 46 yards rushing with a touchdown, while Hyrum Purcell and Ian Togiai combined for 83 yards rushing and two scores. Defensively, the Wolverines held West to just 55 yards of total offense.


JORDAN 56, COPPER HILLS 0: Austin Kafentzis completed 24 of 33 passes for 358 yards and eight touchdowns, including three to Mason Krueger to lead Jordan to the lopsided victory over Copper Hills. Jordan built a 35-0 lead after the first quarter, and there was a running clock the rest of the game.

ALTA 48, BRIGHTON 31: Alta's special teams jumped out on Brighton early as Taylor Ogden returned a kickoff 99 yards and Mack Richards returned a punt 92 yards for 14 quick points. Alta QB Chipper Lucero took the game over in the third quarter and finished with 278 yards and five touchdowns while completing 17 of 24 passes. Harrison Handley added 85 yards and a touchdown on eight receptions for the Hawks.

WEST JORDAN 21, COTTONWOOD 12: All of the scoring came in the second quarter as the Jaguars picked up their first win over winless Cottonwood.


LONE PEAK 38, AMERICAN FORK 21: Lone Peak quarterback Baron Gajkowski rushed for four touchdowns as Lone Peak built a 38-7 lead before American Fork tacked on a couple of late touchdown in the region opener for both teams.

BINGHAM 42, RIVERTON 16: Bingham marched to the 24-10 advantage at the half, and left visiting rival Riverton in the dust with a 21-point second half. Coleman Stout tossed a pair of Miner touchdowns, while Hayden Weichers was on the receiving end of two Bingham scores in the lopsided region victory.

PLEASANT GROVE 46, LEHI 11: Michael Anderson dominated in the pocket, completing 11 of 18 passes with 303 yards and a pair of rushing touchdowns. Skyler Munson caught four of those passes for 210 yards and three scores to help the Vikings cruise to the region victory at home.


MOUNTAIN CREST 42, BONNEVILLE 0: Jamison Webb went 9 for 19 with 12 yards and Eddy Hall had a outstanding performance with 13 rushing attempts and 140 yards as the Mustangs racked up a 35-point advantage at the midpoint.

LOGAN 30, ROY 23:Taylor Compton returned a blocked punt 45 yards for a touchdown as Logan overcame an early hole against Roy to avoid the Region 5 upset and improve to 2-0. Luke Falk completed 39 of 60 passes for 387 yards and three touchdowns in the victory.


BOUNTIFUL 30, HIGHLAND 27: In a tough game that was close throughout, Bountiful was able to top Highland in overtime for the win. After Mike Kerr kicked a 37-yard field goal for the Rams in overtime, Jakob Hunt responded for the Braves with a one-yard run to win the game. Hunt finished with three rushing touchdowns and 140 yards on 27 carries.

EAST 47, CLEARFIELD 0: Isaac Valles threw for a pair of touchdowns and added another on the ground as 4A's top-ranked team cruised to the easy victory over Clearfield to improve to 5-0 on the season.

WOODS CROSS 54, CYPRUS 7: Woods Cross blew out Cyprus at home behind 545 yards of total offense. Quarterback Skyler Farnes led the Wildcats to victory, completing 15 of 21 passes for 221 yards and three touchdowns while Junior Vailolo added 86 rushing yards and two touchdowns.


OLYMPUS 34, MURRAY 14: Olympus picked up the decided victory behind solid rushing performances from Coleman Meier and Jake Jones. Jones had two touchdown runs while Meier added one of his own.

WESTLAKE 22, HILLCREST 7: Westlake never looked back after building a 12-7 lead after the first quarter on touchdown passes from Gavin Williams and Stockton Renfro.

SKYLINE 24, HERRIMAN 23: Tyler Snyder rushed 15 times for 65 yards and the game's final score to lift Skyline to the narrow region win over Herriman. Snyder also completed 15 of 20 passes for 177 yards and a pair of passing touchdowns. The Eagles passed for 206 yards and rushed for 128 yards in the victory.


MAPLE MOUNTAIN 20, MOUNTAIN VIEW 7: In a surprisingly low-scoring region game, Maple Mountain methodically built a 20-0 lead heading into the fourth quarter on touchdown runs by CJ Hildebrand, Nik Mafi and Cole Casper. The Golden Eagles finished the game with 30 carries for 168 yards in the region victory at home.

SALEM HILLS 38, PROVO 7: Salem Hills dominated the game through three quarters. Ryan Christensen was amazing scoring a 50 yard field goal. Jake Curtis also had a 71 yard touchdown yard.

OREM 45, SPRINGVILLE 18: Taylor Camp led the Tigers in the road win, completing 14 of 30 passes for 268 yards and two touchdowns while also accounting for 47 rushing yards and two rushing scores. Receiver Tyler Valdez had 146 yards and a TD on five receptions and Nolan Gray added 136 yards and a score on six catches.

TIMPVIEW 38, TIMPANOGOS 13: Jake Lloyd passed for four touchdowns, including two to Dax Raymond as Timpview smoked previously unbeaten Timpanogos. Leading 10-7 after the first quarter, Timpview scored 21 straight points to pull away, including a 20-yard interception return by Isaac Holloway early in the second half.


DIXIE 30, DESERT HILLS 27: Dixie quarterback Blake Barney finished the game 13-for-33 with 226 yards and a pair of touchdown, while also carrying the ball nine times for 88 yards in the region victory. Drew Batchelor was the main target for Barney, hauling in six catches for 127 yards and two scores. For Desert Hills, Ty Rutledge completed 13 passes for 141 yards, and also rushed 15 times for 114 yards in the loss.

HURRICANE 38, SNOW CANYON 7: Hurricane easily improved to 3-0 in region play as Jared Edwards rushed for 164 yards and two touchdowns while Adam Thompson 46 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Hurricane's defense held Snow Canyon to 127 rushing yards.

PINE VIEW 42, CEDAR 21: In his first game back since a nasty Week 1 injury, Pine View quarterback Kody Wilstead completed 16 of 25 passes for 274 yards and four touchdowns to four different receivers. Prentiss Miller added 178 rushing yards and a touchdown on 16 carries.


JUDGE MEMORIAL 42, PARK CITY 13: Judge was fantastic on offense, led by quarterback Kaden Elliss who helped on five of their six touchdowns. Elliss ran for three, and connected with Max Barnett and Sean McMinimee on the other two passing touchdowns.

WASATCH 28, UINTAH 7: Wasatch's defense held Uintah to 14 total yards in the first half, and Safety Josh Brown returned a Uintah interception for a touchdown in the Wasps region victory. Tate Berg and Hunter Pela combined for 22 rushes and 175 yard, as Wasatch rushed for 251 yards on the night.

JUAN DIEGO 35, UNION 0: Walter Kauhaahaa scored on a pair of touchdowns in the first half as Juan Diego cruised to the victory after building a 28-0 halftime lead. Chad Williams added a pair of rushing touchdowns for 3A's second-ranked Soaring Eagle, who improved to 6-0 with the win.


BEAR RIVER 47, BEN LOMOND 12: Kyle Zundel finished the game 8-for-12 with 157 yards and three touchdowns to help Ben Lomond cruise past Bear River in region play. Zundel also carried the ball seven times for 109 yards and a score, while Jardee Nessen added eight carries for 61 yards and a TD. Calton Jensen caught three passes for 82 yards in the Bears lopsided victory.

GRANTSVILLE 28, TOOELE 7: Grantsville built a 28-7 halftime lead and put it in cruise control the rest of the way against rival Tooele.

STANSBURY 29, MORGAN 28: In a barn-burner throughout, visiting Stansbury pulled out the victory in overtime as quarterback Chase Christiansen scored on an 11-yard touchdown run in overtime, and then he added the successful two-point conversion. Jackson Clausing scored on a pair of rushing touchdowns for Stansbury.


NORTH SANPETE 34, JUAB 12: Brady Walker rushed for 132 yards and two scores on 22 rushes and Kaden Poulson added 126 yards and a score on 14 carries to lead North Sanpete in the home win. Kyle Hatch had two interceptions and Brendon Anderson added 10 tackles.

DELTA 42, PAYSON 21: Hunter Johnson rushed for two touchdowns and passed for another as Delta rolled to the easy victory over Payson in the Region 12 opener for both teams. Ezra Seui rushed for 110 yards for the Rabbits, his third straight game over 100 yards.

SPANISH FORK 56, CARBON 0: Braxton Argyle rushed for three touchdowns as Spanish Fork opened region play with an easy victory against overmatched Carbon.


GUNNISON 28, AMERICAN LEADERSHIP 10: Dagen Thomas scored on a pair of touchdown passes from Colby Caldwell as Gunnison pulled away from American Leadership in the fourth quarter for the region victory. The Bulldogs overcame five turnovers and prevailed thanks to 576 yards of total offense.

MILLARD 41, EMERY 21: Emery tied the game heading into halftime but Millard dominated the second half outscoring the Spartans 27-7.

MANTI 21, SOUTH SUMMIT 0: Manti forced the Wildcats to turn the ball over five times, and the Templars scored all of their points in the first half to grab the region win. Manti quarterback Connor Aste complete 9 of 16 passes for 238 yards, including a 93-yard TD strike to Jamen Miller in the first quarter.

NORTH SUMMIT 38, NORTH SEVIER 18: After trailing early in the first quarter, the Braves responded and were up by 20 by halftime. Ben Stephens came up big for North Summit rushing for 203 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries.


SAN JUAN 40, RICHFIELD 0: Logan Meyer rushed for two touchdowns, and Barkley Christensen added a touchdown pass and recovered a fumble for a touchdown to lead San Juan to the shutout victory over Richfield.

KANAB 24, SOUTH SEVIER 23: Brandon Nielsen and James Anderson hauled in fourth-quarter touchdown passes from Brandon Jenson as Kanab rallied for the region victory over South Sevier by scoring the game's final 14 points.

BEAVER 54, ENTERPRISE 7: Kasen Hutchings rushed for three touchdowns as Beaver scored 50-plus points for the second straight game in an easy victory over visiting Enterprise. Parker Fails returned a punt 45 yards for a touchdown, while tackle eligible Dallin Langford scored on a five-yard touchdown run.

GRAND 47, PAROWAN 0: Koi Cook led the Red Devils over Parowan with 235 yards and three touchdowns -- including an 80-yarder -- on 11 carries. Cameron Taylor added three more scores with 79 yards on five carries along with an interception return. Quarterback Jacob Francis had 86 yards on 10 carries, one TD, and five PATs in the shutout.


RICH 41, ALTAMONT 26: Rich jumped out to a 21-6 halftime lead and pulled away in the second half thanks to three touchdown runs from Dyson Barker. Kyle Foy scored four touchdowns for Altamont, including a pair of kick return TDs in the second half.

DUCHESNE 42, LAYTON CHRISTIAN 13: McKade Nielsen grabbed two interceptions — totaling four in the past two weeks — as Duchesne pounded LCA. Trent Roberts had 65 rushing yards and three touchdowns, Kaden Moon had 80 rushing yards and one score, and Daniel Hanberg had 36 rushing yards and a touchdown.


DIAMOND RANCH 42, MILFORD 0: Diamond Ranch built a 28-0 halftime lead on Milford and coasted the rest of the way for a region victory that realisticy assures itself of a top two finish in the 1A South region.


OGDEN 42, CANYON VIEW 35: Michael Richardson connected with Larry Rodriguez on the Tigers' two touchdown passes as Ogden rallied from a 14-point deficit to get the win. Dallin Dastrup had 192 yards and three touchdowns for the Falcons in the loss.

MONTICELLO 20, SUMMIT ACADEMY 17: Summit Academy took a commanding 14-0 lead heading in halftime. Monticello regrouped and went to town in the third and fourth quarter, scoring 14 straight points and snatching the victory away from Summit Academy.
