Roundup of Thursday's girls soccer games across the state:



NORTHRIDGE 7, SYRACUSE 0: Kendra Adamson, Annabelle Schwab, and Rachel Trommlitz each scored a pair of goal to lead Northridge to the lopsided win on the road. Josie Manwill recorded the shutout in region play.

DAVIS 3, WEBER 2: Regyn Youngberg, Syndee Vidal and Emma Farley all notched goals as Davis improved to 6-1 in Region 1 with an overtime victory over the Warriors. Grittany Gardiner and Skylee Schenck scored second half goals for Weber to force overtime.

FREMONT 4, LAYTON 3: Fremont made its comeback in the second half, as both Mariah Elmer and Hannah Loftus met the net twice in the region victory at home. Jayne Robinson netted all three Layton goals for the hat trick.


VIEWMONT 2, TAYLORSVILLE 1: Viewmont's tough teamwork led to the victory over Taylorsville.

WEST 8, KEARNS 1: West could not be stopped, scoring four goals in the first half and adding another four in the second half. Sasha Glass, Yvonne Cisneros and Siri Vlasic all had two goals a piece.


ALTA 8, WEST JORDAN 0: Sydney Fitzpatrick and Bizzy Phillips each netted a pair of goals in the blowout victory over West Jordan. Madyson Quigley and Elyssa Hashimoto split the shutout.

COTTONWOOD 3, COPPER HILLS 2: Cottonwood's outstanding teamwork led to the victory over Copper Hills. Sha'uri Alonso, Brooke Evans and Maddie Nielson scored the Colts goals.

BRIGHTON 3, JORDAN 0: The Bengals went on the road to blank Jordan to improve to 6-1 in region play.


LEHI 1, RIVERTON 0: It was Madi Klein who managed to score the games lone goal, and Lehi managed to escape Riverton with a region win. Juli Gibson recorded the shutout.

AMERICAN FORK 2, PLEASANT GROVE 1: Aurora Moberley's second half goal helped the Cavemen pick up an impressive road victory at Pleasant Grove despite trailing 1-0 at the half.

LONE PEAK 2, BINGHAM 1: Lone Peak's Justina Jarema found the back of the net twice, including the winning goal in overtime to secure the region victory over Bingham.


BONNEVILLE 1, SKY VIEW 0: Bonneville improved to 7-0-0 in region play with Paige Coles lone goal in the first half. Megan Philpot recorded her seventh shutout of the season.

LOGAN 2, MOUNTAIN CREST 1: Logan eked out the overtime victory over Mountain Crest.

ROY 2, BOX ELDER 0: Taryn Davis managed to score both of the Roy goals, and Bree Hester recorded the shutout in the region victory.


CLEARFIELD 2, EAST 1: Clearfield's Brinley Adams and Shae Prows led the way for the Falcons in the region victory over the Leopards.

WOODS CROSS 5, HIGHLAND 4: Up 3-2 at the half, Woods Cross managed to hold onto the lead en route to the region victory on the road.

BOUNTIFUL 8, CYPRUS 0: Bountiful easily blanked Cyprus for the region victory.


SKYLINE 5, MURRAY 1: Aside from Jaslyn Masina, four seniors got on the scoreboard for the Eagles on senior night with four Skyline goals in the second half.

HERRIMAN 2, OLYMPUS 0: Herriman's Mikayla Jones and Tori Washington scored the two winning goals in the region victory over Olympus at home. Kenzie Chapman and Mikayla Jones split the shutout.

HILLCREST 2, WESTLAKE 1: Rylee Gritton scored her 13th and 14th goals of the season, second in 4A, to help visiting Hillcrest to the region victory.


OREM 1, MOUNTAIN VIEW 0: Tanyail Wilson scored the lone goal in the second half to help Orem to the narrow region victory on the road. Rachel Miller recorded the shutout.

TIMPVIEW 2, SALEM HILLS 1: Tess Jackson and Alissa Moffet scored the goals for the Timpview, securing the region victory on the road.

TIMPANOGOS 2, SPRINGVILLE 0: Jordyn Chung-Hoon and Katie Henderson found the back of the net in the second half for Timpanogos. Sydney Oldroyd recorded the shutout in region play.

MAPLE MOUNTAIN 8, PROVO 0: Eight different players helped pour in the goals for the Golden Eagles region win, while Brooke McCluskey recorded the shutout.


PINE VIEW 3, CANYON VIEW 0: Kayla Hammond notched a pair of goals, and Pine View cruised to the region win after taking a 3-0 first half lead. Tayosha Turek recorded the shutout.

SNOW CANYON 1, CEDAR 0: Kaylee Brooks scored and Tirsa Snyder had the assist in the one to nil victory over Cedar.

DIXIE 4, DESERT HILLS 3: Kestlie Reid netted a pair of goals to help Dixie survive the high-scoring region battle at Desert Hills.


JUDGE MEMORIAL 2, WASATCH 2: Judge Memorial followed up with everything Wasatch threw at them, only to end the hard-faught game with a tie in overtime.

PARK CITY 3, UNION 0: Park City teamwork led to the the 3-0 solid victory on the road against Union.

JUAN DIEGO 3, UINTAH 0: A 2-0 lead at the half was more than enough to help Juan Diego cruise to the region win at home. Melanie Mecham recorded the shutout for the Soaring Eagle.


BEAR RIVER 3, BEN LOMOND 2: Sadie Croney led Bear River with a hat trick in the first half, as the Bears managed to grind out the narrow region win on the road.

MORGAN 3, STANSBURY 1: Natasha Andersen knocked in a pair of goals to lead Morgan to the outstanding region win at home against Stansbury.

TOOELE 9, GRANTSVILLE 1: Tooele scored eight goals in the first half en route to the easy victory over Grantsville.


SPANISH FORK 3, PAYSON 0: McKinley Brinkerhoff netted the hat trick for Spanish Fork, and improved to a statewide best 30 goals on the season. Brooke Davis recorded the shutout.

GRAND 6, SOUTH SEVIER 0: Amanda Sheets finished with a pair of goals to help Grand to the lopsided region win at home. Donna Snow kept a clean sheet with the shutout.

RICHFIELD 2, MANTI 1: Kalisha Bean scored the first Richfield goal, and a subsequent own-goal helped Manti battle into the extra time periods. With just seconds remaining in the game, Lydia Foster was able to beat the Templars defense for the golden-goal victory.
