RIVERTON — Elder Dennis C. Brimhall, the managing director of the LDS Church's Family History Department and the newly appointed CEO of FamilySearch, will be speaking Tuesday, June 12, at 7 p.m. at the Riverton FamilySearch Library, 3740 West Market Center Drive (13175 South) on the doctrines of family history work.

Elder Brimhall was called as an Area Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 4, 2009.

He has a bachelor's degree in zoology from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Northwestern University. He has been the as chief operating officer at the Medical Center at the University of California San Francisco and as chief executive officer at the University of Colorado Hospital and has also served in a variety of positions in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
