SALT LAKE CITY — Utah coach Larry Krystkowiak confirmed to the Deseret News that discussions with former signee Josh Hearlihy's family were completed Thursday and that "we're ready to move forward." Hearlihy, a 6-foot-7 senior from Harvard-Westlake (Calif.) High School, signed with the Utes in November but was later asked by Krystkowiak to void the agreement. Hearlihy missed half of his senior season with injuries reportedly related to "growing too quickly."

With Hearlihy's official departure, Utah now has three scholarships available for 2012-13. Dallin Bachynski, Glen Dean, Aaron Dotson, David Foster, Jordan Loveridge, Cedric Martin, Jeremy Olsen, Justin Seymour, Brandon Taylor and Jason Washburn are the scholarship players currently on the Utah roster.
