The school is closed, but South High alumni can still get a keepsake to remember their high school days. A Salt Lake company, W.B. Enterprises, is selling $15 commemorative plates in South blue and white that feature pictures of the school and its four principals. The back of the plate also has a legend describing the school's architecture, construction and dedication in 1931. Duane Butler said the ceramic decal company at 1495 E. 33rd South is still offering the plate. Plates can be personalized by adding $1 to the $15 charge. South High mugs are also available for $4.50 to $5. They also can be personalized for $1. Call 484-4281.
