Fire investigators say arson was involved in a blaze that caused an undetermined amount of damage at a vacant West Valley home Tuesday night.
Fire Marshal John Blundell said the fire at 3156 S. 3030 West started at 8:32 p.m. in a rear storage area of the home. The fire spread into the house through the roof and ceiling."The fire was intentionally set. We don't have any suspects," Blundell said.
Two fire engines and nine fire-fighters responded to the blaze, which was quickly extinguished. No one was injured. People who had been renting the home moved a week ago.
